I don't think it is that people are buying. I think RMT are testing waters, and establishing a market for launch. If people have been used to seeing gil for a certain price they will accept it as the norm. either way, pretty funny to see. |

I just turned on the shout filter. I've actually seen groups of players in open beta who I'd guess are gilfarmers. Such as a group of miners I saw at a mining point who were all in the starting miner gear, which means they started the game as a miner instead of a melee/mage. They're probably just trying to get a leg up on how to make the best money, and advertise their websites with shouting, so they can get their business in gear the moment the game launches. |
