Lets use this thread to post cool screen shots we've taken. I'll start.
While I havent taken as many screen shots this time around, I do have shots of the coolest stuff Ive seen.
Ill first start with two cool group shots. I wont hesitate to admit Im only playing this game to hang out with all the old CKD crowed again. The game itself is only a minor part.
(I think kayne is trying to touch me in my bathing suit area)
This is the new Jeuno area for FFXIV. Kayne and I looked everywhere for a secret entrance, but we found nothing.
Corwin joined us soon and he found a hidden cave that lead to an invisible wall. Heres a screen shot of the NPC telling us to GTFO. His armor is awesome.
The new end game (or so we assume) and it is pretty cool. In the centre of this zone is what looks like an old city. A dragon is perched on the top. If you watch the FFXIV trailer you can see the CG cut scene where the dragon lands and crushes the city. Im assuming something happens and the dragon is killed in the process. Maybe this is Bahamut?
This is the best shot i could get. The weather effects make it really hard to see far.
Kayne also helped me get to Falcon's Nest. The only way to get to this city is to run through 7-10 high level mobs that hit for 4k ish. Lucky for me Kayne doesnt always think about what hes doing and he ran into the mobs head first. This gave me time to sneak by while the killed him. Over all the city was boring, nothing was open so i could only talk to the NPCs. They all spoke about the Wyrm coming and now all the men are dead or missing from the battle. Part of the NPC chat is in this shot too, talks about the wrym attacking airship docks.
I was very excited to see that Mistbeard Cove was unlocked this phase. Then I was let down to see that the entire cave is covered in agro mobs that hit for 2k. After a lot of failed attempts, I managed to get my way to the port city hidden in here only to find out the gates were closed.
And yes, I tried the log out trick with the doors, they do not open. This zone had a very FFXI feel. I was waiting for a Tonberry to pop out.
The last two shots are just two cool mobs.
