Doesn't look like SE are doing anything special for end of beta. So I've got a whole bunch of rank 30 leves we can go zombie ourselves on with a ton of people.

I need to delete and recreate my character on another account before the beta ends, so I wanna do this earlier in the day if possible and if enough people are on. Say, something like, 12PM-1PM EDT?

During the last phase of the beta in FFXI there was no annoucement that they would do anything or at least I never saw one.

I was just playing when messages started appearing telling people to head back to the main town or something. Its been like 9 years so its hard to remember.

I'll try hanging around as long as I can for any beta event, but I don't want to leave it too late in the day to remake my character. Otherwise my name will end up getting reserved on a completely different account (since I'm assuming we're going to stay on the same server) and that'll be super annoying.

If I leave it late, then I'll either probably forget and miss it, a timezone discrepancy will screw me over, or servers will die early and they'll just kill the beta test rather than bother bringing them back online.

In other good news though, I managed to convert my old US Square Enix account, which I had to create to link my US POL ID, into an EU Square Enix account, with my old US POL ID still linked and working fine. Now I can be cool and have running shoes to macro in all the time like everyone else.

By my calculations, the beta should be ending soon, around 5PM PDT, 8PM EDT, 1AM GMT. It's in about 3 hours and a half.

Doesnt seem like there is any end of beta event. Big let down that was.

Yeah the System Message just appeared in the log letting us know the servers go off in an hour. No mention of any kind of event.

Ket on my tweeter. It said beta ends on Sep 19 at 2010 PDT
