I was wondering (Since I can't play the beta) what "sub-class moves" do you guys use? like what works good with Archer? Lancer? Marauder? I would think that Archer is good with the Marauder move Bloodbath for HP and are there any penalty for having such moves? |

I don't think they're quite as powerful as when they're used with the main class. I know there's a few like second wind from Pugilist that's nice to restore your health. I think another class gets something similar but I can't remember it at the moment. |

As marauder main, Bloodbath typically gives back 190-240 HP As some other main, Bloodbath from subskills gives back 80-130 HP These are estimates. In addition to what Ult said, these subskills are useful for certain builds Provoke (Gladiator level 10) Defender (Marauder level 10) Slow (Thaum level 8) |

Ket you may be interested in this subskill: Warmonger (aka Provokega) Marauder level 30 Put on a threatening display, increasing enmity generation and drawing the attacks of the target and nearby enemies. |

Jeez level 30 is quite high up the chain. I was thinking of doing to 10 for Defender but oh well. |

Well... I think we're going to have more than enough time to work on other classes, so you could probably get it eventually, Ket. |

even if it takes a while, it would be awesome to have a gladiator with aoe provoke. perhaps i'll get to 30 marauder first and let you know if the skill is worthwhile. |

ket, possibly another reason to get Marauder to 30 Intimidation Marauder level 30 Increases the enmity generated by your actions by 10. |

Wonder how much 10 Enmity actually is. Since they fixed enmity halfway through beta, once a gladiator provokes a target they can usually hold on to it for the entire rest of the fight with a couple more vokes. I was the highest melee in the group though so it'll probably end up like FFXI's paladin later on, where anything not as strong as a HNM is impossible to hold hate on because of how much damage people do. |

well instead of 1 provoke like in ff11, now you get several from gladiator, pugilist, marauder. i don't know how good they all are, but at best you could be a constant provoke machine. |

Provoke uses half a stamina bar though. Unless some mage gets Haste or something later, using that much stamina just on provokes isn't a good idea. Gladiator gets a lot of defense and stuff but you need the stamina bar to use on abilities like Guard, Obsess, Rampart, Aegis Boon or you're almost as squishy as a mage. It would be nice if you got a longer stamina bar as you levelled up, like every 10 levels or something, so you could store more. |

I think there are a couple of skills that increases stamina gain, maybe that will help too? |

I was thinking the same thing this morning. Maybe this game's version of artifact armor will include something like this |

Thaumaturge at 20, I think, gets an MP Siphon move, and as far as I can tell, all monsters have MP to drain. So it's actually a pretty good move. |
