I've been sacrificing some fps to play with AO on, even though i only lose 10'ish frames, the game looks significantly better. Do any of you guys play with it on? If so how much fps are you getting? Having it on while pushing the 60fps limit would be so sweet if it could be done.

Wow. I kind of want to try it but from all the complaints about it slowing it down I didn't want to take a chance. I might try it out and see how it runs seeing the difference between your shots now.

I don't have an option for 16xAA, is it dependent on your card which options you have in the config?

It is base on what video card you have and mine is up where Kioto is at.

I did tried to use my lappy from FFXI that work great but on FFXIV nope too laggy, I did check the AA and there was only up to 4xAA so my video card on my lappy is 7800 Go GTX from dell.

the only issue i have with AO is that it draws a diagonal line across my screen, one side being lighter than the other. does this happen to you to too?

Apparently that's a noted glitch with the ATI gpu/drivers.
