I know Rid was having this issue as well. It started happening to me, and and I've found that if I click the SE logo when it pops up (3 clicks), that the menu loads up fine afterwards. This works 90% of the time when I try it. When I don't do it, it never loads the screen. |

I remember this happened to me once so I just control + Alt + Del to bring task manger up which allowed me force shutdown game then restart game and work fine. |
