let's hope so, because we are talking about the company that wrote a script to ban people in FFXI who sold items to a particular NPC. I guess I have less confidence in their customer service skills than you guys.

Reparts are coming into zam.com that S-E's banhammer has started. These are unrelated to the SP glitch that was fixed week 1. People are getting banned/suspended for no reason. Fun... |

my guess is its some kind of coding error on their part that theyre trying to fix like the "corrupt item" that crashes servers i bet theyre covering it up by deleting players who have it |

I don't think it was billing. Here's something from one of the two threads. Quote: Well my wife finally got someone to tell her what happened. It seems as we duo'd our first few guild leves she was doing somerthing that was consideredn and exploit - they wouldnt say what it was, and my account too has now been terminated permenantly.
Both my wife and myself have cancelled the transaction on our cards, cancelled the Click and Buy account,and as an aside we have shut our FFXI accounts after 4 years playing it together. The bank have already stopped/reversed the transaction for the game thank god. Their customer service was appalling and as soon as they realised we had been banned for whatever the hell this exploit was they cut us off and told us they cannot provide support to a banned account. Ten minutes later my own account was Terminated too. Thanks all for your help, we still really dont know what happened other than they think we were cheaking on the tutorial leve thingy we were doing. This is the last SE product we are buying. I wouldn't believe any of the posters from allakhazam. A lot of them just like to whine any chance they get. The couple that got banned might be legit, but other than them I don't believe it. |

It does seem like bullshit. My guess is they bought gil or hired someone to pl them, and then the guy doing the pling advertised on their character. The fact that it looks like it's only happened to a handful of people makes it seem like either a troll attempt or the above. |

When RMT were gardening for Gil, there was this one NPC they used to sell to, as it was the closest NPC to the moghouse. S-E set it up to where if you sold certain items to it, or sold them as a certain level, or something, you got banned. Ended up banning many honest players who didn't know better. |

I really hope it's something to do with billing. It would suck to have spent $80 on a game and then not be able to play it for no apparent reason. |
