Yep, it appears that currently mages got the shaft. Skill points parties are drifting toward 13 melee / 2 mage parties. (This may not be breaking news to some people). This is because mages don't like partying with other mages when their best SP is from curing and they steal each other's cure SP. Meanwhile there is a SP bonus for everyone from having tons of party members. That's easily achieved by inviting tons of melee. Then you can go zerg hard monsters for 500SP every few seconds. This is how high level parties are, unless you want to buck the trend and be inefficient for old-times-sake, which is fine. --- That said, I feel horrible if I party with non-CKD mages. So from now on, I won't exp my marauder unless there are at least 2 CKD mages in the party. Good news: from level ~36+ ... Grass Raptors seem able to support 3 or 4 mages with 500 cure SP/battle when you have a full party (12+) and everyone is taking breath damage. |

skillpoint system is so retarded I guarantee you they ditch the randomness of it and assign static SP values to kills with a cap and split evenly throughout the party right before or after the PS3 launch. |

I agree with Kayne and Whisp. The SP system is retarded, and currently negatively affects Mages. I'll even go on to say that the current SP promotes bad playing, meaning that those highest ranked on the servers probably are really shitty at their jobs (Particularly mages), because they've only learned to do one thing well this whole time and that's spam your best SP-generating move. |

You aren't going to play it after wow expansion comes out. Also... Amazon.com has ff14 limited edition on sale for 44 dollars haha. |
