This has been known for a little while now, I believe the specifics are as follows: Item NQ Minimum Repair Level = Item Optimal Rank -10 Item +1 Minimum Repair Level = Item Optimal Rank -5 Item +2 Minimum Repair Level = Item Optimal Rank Item +3 Minimum Repair Level = Item Optimal Rank +5 The minimum repair level is simply the level you're allowed to attempt to repair the item. In the majority of cases, you won't actually be able to repair the item at that level without guild support. In my experience it takes another 4-5 levels before you can repair the item with some consistency. |

if your gear says "optimal rank: 15" you gotta be level 5 (in the craft) to repair it. gear rank minus 10. it changes for +1 +2 +3 gear, like ket said |
