The update is looking like another round of win, so far. Tons of stuff in there i'm liking. - 8 latest recipes thing is in - gear damage now shows on both the gear and inventory screens - status effects now show timers - separate bazaar icon for seeking repairs - automatically select repair materials EDIT: Looks like the introduced a bunch of bugs they're aware of too at the bottom, but we should be getting another update in a week or two at most that'll probably fix em. |

If you equipped one of those traits, jobs that shouldn't be able to use your spells suddenly could. For example equipping One With Nature meant your Botanist (etc) could suddenly equip (and cast) Cure. This was most definately a bug though because although you could cast spells like this the animations were all f'd up. |

All posted, have at it. There's a second page with LOTS of item changes, too many to post. In summary though, they made a bunch of synths easier. They also changed all the conjurer weapons to need branches to repair instead of growth formulas. EDIT: Link = http://lodestone.finalfantasyxiv.com/pl ... .html#ti02 EDIT2: This thread made me go in the CSS and fix the top-margin on list items. Was set to 0px, set it to 14px. The update post at the top is now laid out much nicer. |

Apparently SE is retarded and any sound setting over 44.1khz crashes the game on loading after the patch, much like other poorly developed games are doing nowadays (Singularity for one). Hopefully they patch it since I don't feel like changing my sound settings to lower quality everytime I wanna play this shit. |

Probably never. Having 600,000 people downloading 250MB off your server all at once is not only extremely slow (you must remember having to sit through FFXI patch downloads) but it also costs them a ton of money in bandwidth. Usually if you visit a few of the more niche ffxiv forums (BG, Sentai, etc) someone will have posted the patch file up online somewhere to be downloaded and you can get the patch that way. |
