It's still free and it's gotten a lot better. The frequent updates have been improving the game like crazy. |

I've been wondering the same. How do the physical DPS all compare against each other? Can Gladiator finally tank well? I'm still pretty happy with FFXI right now, but I just recently finished all the Abyssea main story and leveling my jobs so that may die down till the next patch. |

regarding DPS, i can only speak from a marauder perspective: now that maim is nerfed, archer can out damage me i dont feel like gla, lnc, or pug can out damage me. theyre either on par or less dps. i feel like a mrd with good accuracy can dps more than all those jobs you ask, can gladiator tank really well? -- the answer is yes. especially with shield skill at 50. there really is no comparison with other jobs. marauder is the next best tank, in my opinion. |
