Thanks lol

Unfortunately, mine's been used.

It's worth pointing out that a buddy pass is basically commiting anyway. Unlike other games, the FF14 Buddy Pass that came in the box with the collectors edition is, for all intents and purposes, a whole extra copy of the game.

You create an account, and enter the buddy pass code in lieu of the game's registration code and you get a fully activated permanent account just like anybody else who bought the game (not a trial or anything at all). But what you won't have is the game DVD to install it from, you're going to need to find a torrent and download it or borrow it from someone else.

Honestly I bet if people knew this to begin with a lot of people would have just made their own second account to two-box or something. Especially since the game has been entirely free for almost 8 months now.

I can't imagine how much money they've lost on this game.

Soon it will be Square-Enix-Atlus

She did but she gives everything away to her Mom or little brother (little brother in this case) and now it is lost. lol

I'll probably just end up going to buy it this afternoon but I thought I might try.

i saw my buddy pass and it said i needed to register it to be able to use it, so i registered it, thinking i could then give it away, and then it opened a 2nd account for me, so i disabled it.

If you're brave enough, you could try asking around on /v/ for one, although you may get laughed at.

In school. She stopped playing because it sucked and I wasn't playing but, it seems to have improved and I had fun last night so I'm sure you will see her again.

Cool, welcome to FFXIV! Hopefully you kept your same character name from FFXI lol. Several people chose completely different names. All they did was create confusion for people from Ifrit who started playing FFXIV. We call them by their FFXI name anyways.

The only person that I saw at all this weekend was Krellis Klump who is always in the same spot doing the same thing so I didn't talk to him. haha

The game seems much better than I remember..

Dunno if it was because of Mother's Day on Sunday but this weekend was extremely barren compared to how it usually is.
