Some small children this weekend decided to wreck havoc in my house and break my damn expensive flat screen which I played 14 on. Seeing I only have a laptop for work related needs I have no spare monitors.

So!

I'll be gone for a while, not much different since I was dead all the time in game anyways.

Also, anyone know what are good tv's to buy these days?

The one I had was a 40" Sharp LCD but I bought that like 4 years ago, I haven't kept up with the home theater technology in some time.

ouch! Ringo your not alone on broken Flat screens. I had my 32" sharp in my bedroom get hit by my PS3 controler by one of my twin son Max that threw it when mother asked to turn it off. Believe it or not I still have that hung on that wall and not had taken down yet.

I didn't know you were Ike until abuot 3 days ago. Even though you mentioned you live in AZ and we chatted about it for a bit I didn't put 2 and 2 together. People need to stop changing their goddamn names, it confuses me lol.

Ill never buy any brand other then samsung whenit comes to tvs and monitors. I LOVE my 22" screens on my pc.

I am going to by that armor shield that will protect the flat screens so I don't lose another one and my computer as well cause I got 46" LCD with LED backlight Insignia 1080p and LG 22" LCD Flatron W2361VG model HD 1080p

I got an LCD with LED Backlid Insigna 42" tv and it was really bad for me. there was alot of ghosting and you could see the th backlight in really dark scenes (Avatar). I promptly returned it and got a Panasonic LCD TV. Much happier with this tv, blacks are really black, there is no ghosting or pixelations like the insigna had.

I don't see any of that and I am happy with 46" with no problem and its blackness is also good as well.

The protector thing is kinda nifty, good idea for households with kids and wii's.
