I guess you can't pre-order the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIV and get the early access. or am I wrong?

From what I gather you can even though the PC and PS3 version codes are different.

You can pre-order the PS3 version and get early access, yeah. It depends on the retailer. Some retailers send the pre-order code out to you right away, some seem to be opting to hold on to it until later for some reason. To be safe, make sure the product description actually mentions the pre-order bonuses.

im just gonna pre order mine from best buy or something on Tuesday. they normally don't allow preorders for special editions so I ill have to wait in line for that.

Make sure you actually get your pre-order code if you do it at retail. I've heard that at places like Gamestop, it's supposed to be printed onto your receipt, but they often forget or have no idea about it until you query it.
