I never checked my DPS in ffxi; I just know if I took agro, I'm doing something right. LOL In WoW, they had dps calculators so from then I can control my damages and make sure I don't take agro from tanks. I was wondering if there was a parser for ffxiv? I googled one and it gave me... http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone ... rum/27087/ Is it good? |

ACT is the best one I've used so far. http://www.reddit.com/r/ffxiv/comments/ ... iv_plugin/ |

I can't click on that link, but the A-Team is generally on the ball about the parsers. I believe the current go-to parser is called Advanced Combat Tracker, and they have an FF14 plugin for it. I used it on the turn 4 pug I joined for last week, and it seemed to do a good job. It doesn't track Shadowflare for SMNs, of course, but I don't think any parser currently does. Edit: Krel beat me to it! |

It depends on the fights, but all things considered equal the general consensus is... SMN or MNK > BLM > DRG > BRD |

My experiences jive with Krellis's list. Its not quite as cut and dry but overall that was accurate from 2.0 |

I feel like I do more damage sometimes on Bard than Dragoon simply because when I can unload, I can unload and unload and unload on Bard. When it rains it pours. Where drg can just kind of blow the wad and be done dealing monster numbers, as I see them, for a while. Drg damage is oddly steady in that way I guess, or it just seems that way because the difference between buffed damage and non-buffed damage seems so vast. I don't include heavy thrust and disembowel as buffs per se because they must always be up. If they're not I may as well be dead. This is kind of the reason I was hoping for another support ability for Dragoon just in terms of helping the party function but that would just break up the rhythm entirely. |

I was hoping theyd make feint actually fucking work on anything worthwhile even if they had to nerf the amount a little bit to put it inline with reign of death, virus. Instead, because its SE, they just nerfed them haha As I posted in the other thread awhile ago, I'm pretty sure drg will jump ahead of blm but probably won't catch Mnk. Since it really only matters how they are compared to Mnk, hopefully Drg dps + 7%~ of the inevitable brd in your coil group will equal mnk dps in 2.1 |

Is there anyone who could help me work the advanced combat tracker? I want a DPS overlay, and I want to be able to make custom sounds based on monster abilities and my own abilities. |

Cor/Krell/Rush/Lackies would be best to help you there Whisp. They use it for t5 sounds and timers. |

Apparently the ACT FF14 plugin got updated about an hour ago, and it now parses a lot better, since it reads from memory. This is good news for BRDs and SMNs. http://www.eq2flames.com/plugin-discuss ... ost2106277 |
