•Extreme mode King Moogle

•New currency like Philo and Myth
•New artifact armor (source needed)
•Vanity system (Mirage Prism)
•Expansion of the dye system (source needed)
•Crafters will be able to alter gear designs using a “template” system (official name TBD)
•Wait command in macros will be allowed in-line. [now in patch 2.16]
•Free Company alliances
•New hair styles (Yoshi-P has said each major patch will have a main focus on a single race) (source needed)
•Ability to indicate number of items to store in a retainer
•A retainer can be hired for a Free Company's estate "From patch 2.2 onward"
•Ability to hide (again) quests from the HUD duty list

They probably won't release anymore info until the next live letter. March 23rd or 24 irrc (can't look it up at work). Ket brought up a good point, when the last big patch went into effect they announced all the details on that live letter, then released the patch a few days later. So chances are we will have 2.2 in exactly 2 weeks. I feel bad that I haven't been doing too much stuff in-game lately, but I figure it'll help make it easier to hit the new content hardcore when it's released. In my defense, it'd really boil down to either achievement hunting, or just trying to make money. haha. I really want to get some more long-term things in like chocobo breeding/racing, stuff like that! I'll definitely do the new beastman dailies, but I haven't even bought the pets/mounts from the old dailies. I gotta get on that.

There are sooooooo many things I haven't done in game yet...I'm just too lazy to grind anything. My chocobo is level 1, i haven't finished the main story quests, I have never gained reputation for beastmen (done like 5 daily quests ever), I still have a few gathering and crafting jobs that aren't 50, I haven't done any of the hildebrand sidequests, I haven't done class quests for the majority of my level 50 jobs, and much more. Hell I haven't done any of the chocobo porter quests either. When Rush logged into my character he was cracking up at how many (!) he saw everywhere. I have 0 desire to do anything in the game besides Turn 5 right now lol. I actually like that, because our scheduled runs cater to my irl schedule perfect. I'm not hating on FFXIV or saying i'm bored with it. To be fair I'm too lazy to play anything lately. My backlog of unplayed games is stacking up also.

Yah. It's why I decided not to hop on the WoW bandwagon that a few have. I like the idea of just playing one, and one in which I've actually done most stuff, so I can do -other- things while I wait for new content. I've been playing some PS4, it's been fun. If I were to play WoW, then I'd just be bouncing back and forth between grinding MMOs.

Yeah I can't imagine grinding 2 different MMO. Peoples is crazy. I want to catch up on my PS4 backlog. One of these days.
