Did any of you play in character creator yet? Did you come up with anything that looks good? This is the best I've gotten.

That one looks nice. I find some of the au ra characters just look like elezen midgets with psoriasis :p |

I managed to make a cute one goofing around in it, the scales bug me though. I can deal with the goat horns and the alligator tail is ok enough but i dont like the leprosy look of the scales. |

These guys disappoint me. I saw the post on the ffxiv subreddit with some original artwork (as well as some of Vierra), I got to agree with Pie. They straight up look like Horny Elezen... (nyuk nyuk nyuk). Going to introduce a brand new race and not have it different enough than existing races is disappointing. I know Yoshi said that they made the changes, 'cause data showed most characters created fell into the "gentle" characters, or whatnot, but some bona fide bad-ass looking dragon people would have probably garnered a healthy amount of praise and use. Missed opportunity IMHO. They don't look terrible; they just don't look different. |

I made a Au Ra male and their body posture reminds me of Elvaan's from FFXI |
