so in that case what do you do? train to zone and wait for call reset? or does it despawn fast? Either way, seems like a good way to waste like a 500k value item

500k in value? I thought it was worth way more than that.
That could just be because im a WHM and the idea of farming an item that isnt on a too weak is like mission impossible. |

Seiiguram bought his eyes and made his cluster awhile ago, he hit 75 THF and decided to go for optical, long story short a tonberry linked and seiiguram not knowing "call for help" calls all monsters in red called for help to avoid everyones grudge. He bought a cluster later that night for 880k he i now "poor" with 2 million with millions owed to him. Heh ye thats truhls they said he died like 5 times. |

Calling for help to avoid grudge seems to only ever cause more problems than it solves. It's not that hard to reset your grudge, and usually would only run you around like 250g, or something, if you do it somewhat regularly. |

Seiiguram purchased the eyes, got the eye cluster made ( I assume this came to 880k?) They spawned hakutaku (drops the hat), and got a tonberry add. When fighting tonberries, its common to call for help to avoid building a grudge, so seii called for help not realizing that it will call for help on hakutaku as well, thereby wasting the eye cluster = 880k over building a grudge that costs like 500 gil to reset. |

The 880k I was talking about was spent on a 2nd cluster the night he called for help, he bought it fast hoping they would go again but they were too tired. His first one was cheaper then that. |

Sparky is forgetting an important detail. I didn't call for help on my own Hakutaku, it was Farfire's, so I gave him my cluster for my screw-up. 880k for my 2nd cluster is nothing for the best hat in the game. I'm sure I can get back that money easily. Skyler still owes me 1 million gil anyways. And about actually calling for help, it was just a reflex after killing so many tonberries. Yeah, I know 2k < 880k, but it's not like I planned to ruin this whole thing. Costly mistake, but nothing I can't recover from. |
