Whisp, You should just pick a specific spot for the photo. That way if we can't make it we can just AFK there. An ideal spot should have the meteor in the background. |

Gotta be a nicer looking spot than dusty old Black Brush surely. Coerthas? Ishgard? One of the Gridania waterfalls? La Noscea beach? Limsa fountain? The ferry? Any other suggestions? |

Yeah... I don't like Black Brush either, but I think that's more of a convenience thing since it was so close to uldah. My vote would be Coerthas... I think if you go to riversmeet (or somewhere around that area... maybe even near one of its nodes).. you can get distant ishgard in the background too. Grid area would be my second pick.. for all the shitty design of running around there, it's got some awesome scenery. Maybe grid is best though? Can take an end of the world 1.0 pic and then a 2.0 pic in the same spot and see whats changed. I just recently realized that most of the live demos have been around what will be hyrstmill... thats a pretty big change from what it is now. |

i'm just about to head in to work, i suppose i could go pick a different place before i leave ishgard & meteor not possible in the same photo hyrstmill & meteor not possible either |

A very few quick clips (about 30 seconds) from that event while I was testing whether Fraps is properly recording 1080P on my PC now that I switched my hard drives from IDE compatibility to SATA/AHCI native. EDIT: Kinda sad I didn't have Fraps running for the Garuda run now though, oh well. |
