haha thats awesome. I really think the GMs need to get more involved with the player base aside from just doing tickets. Events should be done with GMs that are fully involved.

lol That was when the PLD/WAR Adaman set was for DRK too. Sagesundi always was DRK. Haha. It was like, level 80 also if I remember right.

Sage Sundi is a nice guy. He was the contact for the devs on the VN. He would PM on the forums and link me to everything he posted. Id put up a news artical about it on the VN website and mod the F out of the thread.

The GMs in beta were cool as hell. I saw many just standing around with a huge crowd around them =P

And the end of beta event was cool as hell, that was fun to watch the GMs fight Serket and Cassie and shit like that.

Speaking of GM's getting more involved. UO used to have GM's called Seer's that would, though a very rare sight, show up and give certain people or guilds a special quest. He'd give them locations to go to and even spawn special monsters for them to deal with. In my 4 years I was only involved in 1 of these events but it was really fun. Best thing was, the quest had its own little storyline.

lol yep i 'member that. UO was pretty fun in the aspect that it didn't have levels, only skills, even though it wasn't too linked to the original avatar story, it was still pretty cool. also they had free servers you could play on which was also pretty fun. i had a grandmaster swordsman on the pacific server, never really got past that.

yeah uo was great for that i remember my friend was in a group hunting demons and they were killing too fast and a bunch of people complained about spawns so gm popped and controlled a super nasty named balron and killed everyone that didnt recall/gate in time. Was pretty neat to watch the carnage.
