Yeah same here Mikey..... it's one thing to have a discussion... and another thing to just erase or change someone's post. I think its extremely rude, and whenever mods do it to my posts I find it quite offensive. (especially when its not for breaking any rules like using profanity of some sort) Fight the power mikey~ |

Mikey I post from work, the thread you made had links and stuff on it that would have got me fired if I had clicked on them. I delete the thread because of what OTHER people posted. I suppose I should let people post stuff that will get me fired so that I can lose my job and not beable to pay for these forums. you see, this website and stuff isnt free. I actually pay to have these forums running faster than I could if I Hosted them myself. so calm the F down. |

That clearly should be a practice more commonly used on these forums, since many of the visitors also browse from work. And maybe setting some rules for the forums in that way (such as no explicit photos etc. in sigs or avatars) to make things a bit more family/work safe. That wouldnt outright ban any of those pictures, but they should be put in a thread with a proper warning in the title. |
