the added effect is pretty sweet "Damage proportionate to current HP" so when that kicks in you do 900ish as a rdm |

Actually it 1/2 your hp, so more like 500dmg from a RDM. It also has the ability of doing 3x damage on any hit. I watched a video of a PLD with it doing like 500+ dmg normal hits. It was only on a too weak mob though but still kinda cool. Oh, and Discordian has been my RDM hero since I found out there were FFXI forums. |

This sword is pretty hot. The major downfall is the weapon skill "Knights of the Round" lol. But I was reading about this guys experience and browsing screenshots. This sword increases critical hit proc rate, can multiply damage x3 randomly, and the additional effect is insane. Depending on your HP, you can dish out 900 DMG with a normal attack (Using PLD HP of 1800+). The additional effect doesn't proc much, but when it does... That pretty nice. PLD and RDM aren't DD classes, so seeing those numbers are impressive to tank/support classes. But yea, I see that KotR sucks ass and Spirits Within is better haha. Its also rumored that you BRIEFLY become invincible after using KotR (only 2-3 seconds is what I read). But this sword is pretty cool for the classes that can equip them. |

Damn that sword is cooler than I thought. PLD doing 500 or more damage with a regular swing to an IT mob...that would be sick. Even if it happens rarely. This would be a cool sword for PLD. I'd like to try it out in an exp party. |
