I've done this a few times, lol. 
I had another Weapon cure me for about 200HP but I forgot to Fraps it, lol. I know that if a mob is casting a spell on an avatar, and you dismiss the avatar, the spell will automatically hit the summoner instead. This happened while I was on SMN and just after I dismissed an avatar, so I'm assuming it's related. |
