Blms don't need the extra MP from summoner, and if the melees are too cheap to buy silent oils or prism powders then they're gear is probably gimp too so you'd be best off just getting different people

To be fair, Powder/Oil prices are pretty inflated these days. You could toss us a few spells, or we can spend tens of thousands of gil on items. Still, I always keep some on hand for emergencies...or bitchy mages. (grin)

Mage: Don't be gay and cast it, not like it's a big deal or anything. You shouldn't even wait for them to ask it


Melee: Stealth > R3 > silent oil > sneak.

Sneak is unecessary 3/4 of the time, so stop crying about it. I dunno how many time people were asking me on blm for sneak when I didnt even bothered casting it on myself.

I can always remember when going to camps in |sky| or some other place that requires cloak spells, I would sneak the melee then myself. Guess it was just a courtesy thing. However, usually in places like |sky| the first one is on the house, the rest is up to you to carry oil/powder.

In the case with 3-4 melee, the mages would share sneak/invis spells. Now when running to a place like Garuda's Cloister, everyone is suppossed to carry oil/powder.

call me old fashioned but i would always sneak/invis anyone anytime unless there was magic aggro right nearby. even if it meant i got left behind.

my general rule of thumb is to try and sneak everyone when embarking to a camp/location where there's aggro otw. after that initial sneak, if they start to wear it's up to them to be prepared or get there safely. That's one of my biggest in-game peeves... some noob spamming @s! @s! {sneak}! a lot of times I'll just let them get aggro and die lol The funniest are the ones who think they're inconveniencing you by aggroing, almost doing it maliciously to "teach you a lesson" /sigh yep those are the best

lol, I was camping valkurm emperor one time, and right when it popped, a level 30ish paladin came up and claimed it. He sat and shot arrows at it for some reason, which was probably why he lost, but I sent him tells to invite me so I could help him out and since I have TH2 it would help the drops and stuff. But anyway, he kept yelling for me to cure him lol Didn't understand that
