It's the perfect vector for bringing advertisements to people. At least that's what Suckerberg thinks. |

Whisp, if you don't pay for a product, then -you- are the product. Facebook, and everything associated with it, is nothing but a data gathering empire for marketing purposes. |

if you read the transcripts from the announcement he describes all sorts of plans for the rift, none of which are game related. a lot of consumers feel that the reason behind the product has been abandoned. it might me jumping to conclusions, yes, but the internet is good for that. i suppose its similar to getting all hyped for the next playstation and everything you hear about the product fulfills your hopes and dreams and last minute before its supposed to be released sony sells itself to charmin. as in toilet paper. you also find out that charmin bath tissue is failing as a company and has been buying up seemingly random tech for money which they dont truly have. you also dislike charmin cause you once got a splinter in your butt. one cant Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis why a bath tissue company would want a gaming console for and they are only using the press to talk about the possibilities of video conferance with your friends while you poop. sure um ok. i dont knoe about you but i would question how they could manage a game console in the long run and still be in touch with consumers wants. |

thats it lol. anyho my basic point was to whisp that facebook is only hyping social networking prospects and completely disregarding it as a gaming accessory. since fb hasnt been doing awesome lately managing their own people are really nervous. nothing sounds like something they want and have little faith going forward. of course, like everything game relating, the internet will throw a fuss of bad media and then all rush out to buy it day one as always. lol its silly but people love drama. |
