her chinese accent was kinda off, but it was funny when she started speaking "chinese" lol, I couldnt tell if it was real or not. Strange she can get down the langauge but not the accent lol

i just thought it was funny cause lioke 30 minutes before i saw this video me and my mom were making fun of them, and saying these same things, the only thing she missed was "PICK A CALA PICK A CALA FO YO NAIR"

The lady who owns the place where I get my haircut (I get it cut at a salon fuck you) came from vietnam with her family when she was 10, she had the dress she was wearing and one other dress, that is all she had. They stopped in thailand to try and sell some dried fruit because they heard they could make some good money there to start with, they got about 1/10 what they expected.

When they arrived in the USA they couldn't afford english lessons so she had to just carry a viet<>english dictionary everywhere she went and teach herself the language. She went through school while working to teach herself english, staying up til 2-3 every night to do her homework, while translating it herself.

She went on to graduate college(worked 2 jobs) and she's now a full-time real estate agent along with owning/operating the salon. I love her, and in her name, I will beat the shit out of parade and his asshole mother some day.

The last thing they see will be a scary little hairy man yelling Leah Tran.

DISCLAIMER:
I don't really plan on beating the shit out of parade and his asshole mother, however I think the thought of me chasing someone down (hilarious in itself if you know I'm 5'6" and incredibly lazy) and beating the crap out of them while yelling a vietnamese woman's name was pretty funny.

Story is entirely true.

thats a great story. my mom owns a salon too. and her best friend is one with a story similar to yours.

edit: im sorry i offended you dead, i was simply commenting on a comedian thats i thought was kind of funny.

i know how hard it is for immigrants to make it in this country and to do it all on your own is simply amazing, i didnt mean any disrespect. not just with the asians, but blacks and irish too. w/e if you werent born here, its going to be tough.

ohh and her name is may, my mom does her hair, and she does my moms nails. its a great get together.

Once every year or so usually. I haven't been back since August '05 because she had me promise I'd quit being a bum before the next time I return.

I'd go there every day if I had money and a reason lol. She doesn't like cutting my hair short either, always tries to keep it at least moderately lengthy.

She kinda gives off the same vibe (ie: being very well put together, she fucking runs a salon) as Nicole Kidman in The Others. :love:
