Just an update because lately there was some doubt about whether or not the footage in the trailer was in real time; yesterday it was confirmed by Hideo Kojima that they were in real time. At a demonstration Kojima paused the trailer and started to pan the cam around him.

Kojima said that MGS2 would be his last game.

Then because of the critique MGS2 got about Raiden he decided to make "one more game", so he made MGS3, the "last" game he would create himself.

Then MGS4 is announced, and using a really wierd teaser trailer they made they revealed that Hideo Kojima would be directing/producing MGS4 as well.

So now he's claiming he wont be making any more after MGS4 either. I'm skeptical about that, it's like the boy who cried wolf, lol.

Also I think he was done after MGS2 but no one stepped up to take the project from him and that was what he was waiting for. So he he went "eh damn it" and made another.
