I mean really, Ike, do you believe that I really think you grew up playing Top Gun for NES 10 years after it was released? No, I believe you wanted to fit in and you just told everyone in that thread you loved Top Gun because you didnt want to be the odd man out, even though you didnt have to post anything. Thats just one example.

I'm all for creativity and "identity formation" but this is just getting ridiculous. Last time I checked, Yarr is an intelligent person bringing up valid points. You're right Ike...he is happy and successful irl. I don't see what that has to do with it.

Ike, you actually remind me a lot of my sister. She's 18 years old and she LOVES photoshop. She takes all sorts of pictures of herself then completely alters them to look like someone else. That's fine, but she's not claiming to be "the best" or a model. She does it for fun and that's it. If you feel it necessary to take photos of yourself with a mask and in a tiled space, that's fine, but maybe think twice before you post them. Someone is obviously going to burn you for it.

EDIT: oh yewah, hii sunshine, its nice to see you sticking up for your boyfriend, i respect that and im glad you guys are happy together, but just wanted to point out that i never said i was the best. i do my best, but im certainly not claiming i am some kind of god, haha photoshop is an amazing program that has changed the way photographers look at things through out the years, i dont remember saying i am a model either, i remember saying i wanted to get back into modeling. i was a model when i was little, but that has nothing to do with now. tell your sister to keep practice with photoshop cause its just going to keep getting bigger and its going to become a major part of everything she works with if she plans on persuing it into a career like me.

Yarr. You're 26 years old and arguing with a teenager on the internet about if his pictures portray his true personality. And you're saying Ike has problems.

The pictures aren't supposed to portray Ike. It's the same as if someone wrote a story and the character was his/herself, but the story didn't exactly follow their lifestory. Does that mean they are hiding behind the story or that they had a great idea and wanted to share? Because if you think they're hiding, you probably think a huge portion of fiction writing is trash and that the authors are 'emo faggy' because they used themselves as a model but made the story a little better by adding their own touches. To me that is the same thing Ike is doing. And I'm sure, like other people said before, if Ike had another subject around he would take pictures of them, too. It's just that he's all he has to film. I don't understand what is so despicable about that.

I do, however, find a grown man trying to belittle a 16 year-old by calling him names and degrading something he obviously finds joy (regardless of what you think they are) in distasteful, in the least.
