Ok, well, a lot of the lower level people I'm sure want an event they can take part in too. We will do a level 10 rally (which we planned a while back but never had the people to go).

If you're interested, send me a PM over the forum, or get in touch with me in-game ^^ Figure we can get a lot of IFrit out for hopefully a big turn out, and maybe something fun to do before dynamis that sunday





* This rally will take place on Saturday, October 30th, the Halloween weekend, at 6 PM EST!!
* Each member will be required to have a pumpkin head to enter, since this is Halloween - subligars preferred as well!!
* You must come as a level 10 or lower job if you wish to participate.
* You will have 120 minutes to complete the race.
* There will be a small registration fee of 500 gil.
* The finish line is the Hall of the Gods (yes this will be very dangerous).
* I suggest everyone have maps of Meriphataud Mountains, Sanctuary of Zi'Tah, and Ro'Maeve (purchased from Mhaura).
* The winning team (or the one to make it the closest) will win all the gil at the end of the event.
* High level escorts are strictly not allowed.
* The use of silent oils or prism powders is not allowed.
* Your home point must be in Jeuno.
* Keep your job's 2 hour in mind if possible aggro.
* Use of Reraisers or Reraise scrolls are not allowed.
* You must stay off of /anon the entire race.
* You will be organized in teams of 3 (you may pick your teammates or be randomly placed into teams).
* If one member reaches the goal, he/she wins for that team.
* Money will be split between the team, and each member from the team will receive a complimentary 5000 gil.
* If you do die during the race, you may homepoint and restart from Jeuno.

I've seen WHM's run through Ro'Maeve sneakless to Hall of the Gods and survive solo, usually only taking one hit or something.

When weapons aggro they usually cast Magic before chasing, and because Weapons are RDM, usually it's something retarded like Blink, Enthunder, Stoneskin, or something, so you can get a head start on them as long as you dont run next to them when they first aggro making them hit you.

Sadly, at Level 1, Dia would probably kill you before you make it to Hall of the Gods, lol.

EDIT: I reckon people would have more trouble getting through ZiTah, especially past the Undead, Bats, and Coeurls near Ro'Maeve.

Ya, it's always funny to see Ruby running with a ton of mobs chasing him. lol

well the best thing you can do is let the sucker take the bait and you RUN FOR IT.

haha i might actually participate in this (i have a lvl 1 PLD) i made it about 100 yards into Zitah as a level 1 from windy--i think yarr and mikey chocobod over my dead body when i was afk'd

To be honest, a level 2 job wouldn't make it much further than a level 1 job.

just as a question that would probably come up~ if no one wins all money will be refunded

and yes you have to take 2 hour's such as perfect dodge and invincible into consideration.

it is suicide, but thats why i want teams in sets of 3. send one person as a sacrifice, while the other 2 run ahead and just hope you stay safe the rest of the way

i think this will also be a twist for the lowbies that dont know the way to hall of the gods but still would like to give it a shot or even for mules that dont have maps of those areas

also, undead might be an issue. those traveling zitah might decide that it be a better idea travel during the day because undead will be blocking just about every path

A level 10 DRG or PLD would last just as long as anybody else out there, lol, you'd have like 150-200 HP. And someone could lend you some HP>MP gear.

once again if you're interested send me PM/email/tell in game so i can keep track of who's going. If you want on a certain team with certain people include that as well so I can get everything setup before hand
