It has come to our attention that some North American players were actually able to download the client before all Japanese players were finished with the download. To make up for this, we have credited all Japanese Accounts with 1 (one) set of AF2 Armor, and 3 (three) Shining Cloths.

im about to toss my pc out the window

i get 0-100% of downloading latest version information
then 0-100% of checking files
then it gets to the actual download page at 0%
then i get a communication error and have to go back to the whole beginning

We are happy to report that while it is true some North American prayers have been able to log in, we were able to thwart all of their HNM efforts. We located a Well Known NAHNMLS Camping Turtle in Valley of Sorrows, but we imediately dispatched several GMs who controlled nearby Monsters to eliminate them. Special Thanks to [GM]NAsuck and [GM]Pearlharbor for your assistance. While we were unable to prevent another NA HNMLS from defeating Bune, we did prevent them from getting any drops.

Well... This is certainly interesting.

This hit on fishing has caused an uproar in the Marissa fishing community. Many high level fishermen, like Pirato, are selling their lu shang's and quitting the game all together. Others are even considering botting as an alternative.

It's really sad that they have nerfed the price of level 96 fish to that of a level 50 fishing. The only thing these changes are nerfing are legit fishermen. While the two cliffs without catchable mobs in Qufim and Buburimbu have been taken care of (Supposedly), people will still bot in Port Windurst. They may take a price cut, but who cares... They're sleeping while they do it, afterall. Ghostsinger may not be majorly affected, but people like Pirato and I will be.

Way to stop the fishing bots, S-E.

They are obviously trying to stifle the amount of gil that is coming into the economy. Through nerfing fishing and the AH selling prices. All I can see this doing, though, is making the rich get richer by charging higher prices. But maybe with all these shortened times on food, fish will become more valuable, since you'll need more of them. But the idea of having to rely on AH sales, even if it's from fishing my own items, makes me shudder.

The AH is full of retards who price cut 1k on 10k items, just so they can sell 8 hours quicker than they would if they put it up for the real price.

I haven't even been able to successfully download this update yet, and I'm already saddened by it.

Damn I pissed too! I log on and there are 5 players camping the ELT port in Bibiki Bay. I can't charm or exp off anything with those f-ing bastards there. I wonder if the update made ELF skins more useful or something... it can't be that crappy nm there. I had that spot all to myself with nm just roamin around unclaimed. T_T

I still can't believe SE did this, now everyone will resort to Nebimonite and Squid fishing and more people will synth them into ink because the supply on AH will get too high, next patch we'll see SE adjusting the npc price for black ink.
