RNG got the shaft everyone knows this. The question now becomes how do we "As the players" fix it, using whats currently available.

Those who figure that one out will still be RNGs. The Ones who just wanna be the Uber damage retard, You'll now see as full time BLMs or MNKs.

Didn't deserve this nerf coz your paying too much for ammo? Now that everyone and their mom is going to quit RNG, demand on ammo will drop and so will the prices.
Besides like Reinheld said, RNG gear is cheap compared to melee DD's if you don't buy stupid overrated e-bow.

This is my experience with the new update for RNG. At the Aura Statue camp, before the update with a Gun I would be able to make reg attacks for easily 150+, WS 1000+, and Barrage around 700+.

After the update, with capped marksmanship merits and pretty good gear, from close range w/ double minuet my reg attacks were doing 90-100, from midrange the dmg was around 120-150, IMO the biggest nerf is the ACC not the DMG. I would go through times where I would miss 4 shots in a row with a gun, and now being in mid range, I loose TP that would have been gained from AXE or DAG, the WAR in my pt was getting TP twice as fast as I was. My Barrage hit about 3/10 and the 7 times it missed was complete miss no bullets hit at all. This is more then a small nerf that can be taken into perspective.

They put RNG on the same lvl as most DD now which is fine by me, but do it when the game first comes out or a short time after, not years after release, when players have put just as much time and money into lvling this job as everyone else has.

Try this: Have enough respect for yourself and your parents that you dont go around speaking like if they gave you no home training . I know if my kid ever talked like that I would smack some sense into them from the get-go. Hell, grown man as I am my 80+ granny wouldnt hesitate to remind my about that with a swift slap... if the pot-spoon wasnt at hand that is.

I pointed out that really (in not so many words), if someone needs to tell someone to "suck thier cock" because they "like the RNG nerf".. maybe they need to relax and realize nothing about this game is worth such strong feeling of anger. If you wouldnt get that angry about someone's opnion IRL, you certainly should not get gray hairs over it on a forum. And if you DO get angry about another's opinion IRL, well perhaps there lies a problem. And maybe you need to learn to read? Btw Abott, when a shot in Barrage misses, it stops. So lets say you missed your barrage, all you really did was miss the first bullet, unless they changed this.

subbing war, and using + attack food wont get the dmg back. sorry ill still only be doing a fraction of what i used to. and lving another job isnt the answer because i dont wanna waste even more time when SE is gonna nerf them soon too. the thing that was aggrivating about the whole change was rng literally has nothing besides its dmg. now that its been castrated, they have nothing. now i just dont care, i want to see how badly SE will screw up the game before everyone quits haha.

I'm not saying you'll get your old damage back, you'll never get that back because SE doesn't un-nerf.

It sucks, but real rangers will keep playing it...everyone else will move on. I feel really bad for people still lvling this job as opposed to the ones that are already 75.

As far as rng not being as expensive as other melee jobs. When you hit 75 and stop lvling you stop paying. Ranger have to keep paying for their job forever, as long as they are shooting they are paying. No other melee has to pay that price.
