US release was pushed to January 2nd. Which is the generic release date for first quarter releases. So, chances are you won't see a US released DVD until around Feb.

I'm a big FFVII nerd, so I loved it, but at the same time, caught a BUNCH of inconsistancies.

I couldn't stop cheering after the Tifa Vs. Seph Clone fight though...those of you who see it will know what I mean

I got this @ 8-25 KBPS, so I went to bed, woke up, and watched it. I have to say, it is one of the best movies I have ever seen and it is way worth it. I liked FF7 and all, but now I love FF7.

I have to say just the opposite. It was hardly worth the wait. lol Was an okay movie, but was pretty disappointed. It's awesome if you just like fight scenes though, which is like 90% of the movie.

It helps if you played and enjoyed FF7.

This was like the greatest thing I've seen this year, seriously lol. Could be because FFVII is the best FF ever(IMO).

It was really awesome to see them use some of the FFVII Limit Breaks. I freaked out when Tifa used Summerassault and Cloud used Blade Beam.

I played, beat, destroyed FFVII. Sephiroth was cool. The three antagonists in Advent Children were not. lol

heh I liked the FF battle win music ring tone myself, Viviti.

Over all it was a decent movie plenty of action and all that. I just wish they had used the Turk's theme more instead of just as comedic relief ( but at least Rude and Reno are the better Turks )

Also while I didn't particularly like the way he killed Sephiroth, I thought in general the whole snap together sword thing, was relatively cool.

My only real gripe is how cheesy it was when Cloud "flew" up to kill Bahamaut. Other than that I thought all the fight scenes were really well done. In particular the Tifa Vs Loz or whatever one, and the Bahamaut fight up until cloud shows up.

A friend of mine downloaded it last night and brought in the dub to work. Im going to copy it later and watch it tonight, maybe.

i must say the movie was awsome, almost non stop fighting. couldnt get the subtitles to work but still awsome non the less. tiffa fight was best evar, but too short. Last fight with cloud was awsome too.

ineed a action packed movie, the quality was just as great as any other movie ive seen (or at least i couldnt notice anything bad qualityness)

What do you mean?

Make sure there is no other file in the directory the movie is located,
just the english subtitle. The subtitle is a file with basically just text.
Load it and it will play it accordently with the movie sequence.

Talisin and I just finished watching. Its rare that I watch a movie and love it that much. Well love it in a nerdy way.

Seriously, I give that movie 10/10 and I am for sure buying it when it comes to this side of the ocean.

We need to make a thread with a spoiler warning and talk about our favorite parts.

God damn that movie was awesome. I had high high high hopes and they were 100% met. Then again Im a die hard Final Fantasy fan (not just 7).

Bahamut was amazing. I really wish they had use my favorite Summon... Ifrit!
