yea after millions of spending, after 4 years the xbox finally made a net profit of a couple of mil maybe like 5 mil or something. Barely worth it to be honest. They expect this to do much better otherwise they stop. They can't have another msn. Msn is another product that microsoft losses millions every year on.

I'll agree though that the ps3 controller LOOKS uncomfortable. But to this day I hold that anyone who complained about the Xbox controller either was A. A Female B. Prepubescent or C. Toting a common complaint because they had no valid argument to complain about the system. In the average guy's hands, it was a comfortable controller. Ps2 controller has given me hand cramps, as does every nintendo portable system.

for the record, VB didnt fail because of how comfortable it was, it failed for a few reasons.
1) Overpriced.
2) no third party support
3) high development costs.
4) no "Killer Apps"

The combination of these are waht killed it. I actually always found it kind of comfortable. The controller was very well designed for its time IMO.

Only system I see sucking when it comes to software is Xbox. I mean come on, the fucking system cant come up with decent games so they pump out EA crap 24/7 and talk of how games are exclusive on Xbox when those same games are coming out for PC,PS2 and Gamecube. Furthermore the only way Xbox gets anything good is by buying out the competition. Yeah that's a sign of innovation. "Hey holy crap we cant come up with anything good so lets just take the other publisher's hits and give them a wad of cash to come with us." I hear RE5 will be on 360. I guess that's the end of the line for RE series.

^True, except maybe Halo, everything on Xbox is basically available for everything else, or PC. Only reason it selled so well, is Xbox Live.

Halo is on PC. Also Halo was never meant to be a FPS either lol. It was a RTS for Mac till MS took it and made it a medicore FPS on a console.
