So I'll be first to admit I am out of the loop when it comes to sky.

Tried to do an event on monday and the Gil Farmers were out in full force and what should have been a full night of fun, ended after like an hour.


Something has to be done. Its just a matter of time before we start seeing Gil Sellers at King Camps.

Although the thought of that seems like it could make for some serious entertainment.

Yeah the gil sellers have been in sky for a while now. You can thank Final Destination LS for showing them around. I saw them killing pop item mobs together for a while.

i haven't seen the gilsellers up there in a while actually, but i did notice them back up there the other night. i know they've killed Genbu, but i haven't seen any with items from the harder gods. They did watch us kill Faust once >.> i think they are stalking people to find out how you are supposed to kill the pop item NMs and stuff

hey just cuz we (FD) have the same ls color doesnt mean we kill pop items together. FYI the gilseller's member was following us and one of blms even got to d2 him and the rest of their shell members tried to MPK us.

For the love of Carbie. SE needs to step up to the plate and do something about this. Otherwise, we will all leave FFXI, and take our money with us. Maybe that's something SE will listen to.

well.. don't forget about all the things they tried to do to combat this.. they raised tax, adjusted nm pop conditions, added the claim timer, changed certain items that were heavily camped by gilsellers into rare/exe, etc.

It does sucks that they are showing up to kings and in sky, however there's not all that much that drops in sky that you can sell and make a lot of money off of (save for v.claws and s.cloths), now if they were really smart they'd have ppl camping sky nms 24/7 and the only way anyone could fight a god again was to buy the pop items off bazaars

But I do agree that SE even after all their attempts, could still be doing a hell of a lot more than they are, there are notorious gilsellers around at certain camps: serket, roc, amemit, and mostly any player at any time could rattle off a list of maybe 10-20 gilsellers, so if the players know who it is and can figure it out, why is it so hard for SE to collect the evidence that they can use to ban these ppl and every new account they try to get their hands on indefinitely?

At least they're not doing Dynamis anymore, but I wish they would've stuck to farming crafting items, I liked them a lot better when teh worst a gilseller could do was the flood the market with silk thread.

but yea if you dont wanna read that... it mentions in there that it is hard to find some evidance cuz they use so many different accounts with different ip's, credit cards, and computers. but ive also heard of them paying off the companys so they wont get banned cuz so much money is made by selling gil.

Oh and ive heard lately of some gil sellers trying to do dynamis

Fucking Phisho or however u spell her name and her gang of gilsellers stole despot from me, I did not hesitate to train 10 robots to the tower zone. They managed to kill it but half of them died like 5 times lol.

And ovinikks are always fun to play with when im on bst, seeing them fighting amemit with an ovinikk on their asses is really amusing lol

You never be banned for MPKing sellers. They dont call GM's. I killed to the point that they offered me gil to stop.

well if we leave because of them.. they would have to leave also.. since farming gil all day is pointless because no one is there to buy it.. then they would leave.. and SE ffxi will go down.. or possibly new players would come in.
