As most of you know KB spawned today, but for those of you who werent there, here is a glimpse of KB unlciamed with almost no HP left. They ktied him around the whole time, and he went unclaimed every like 5 minutes. Suprisingly no one stole it. Shining cloth did drop ;;

in japanese gameplay its considered rude to voke nm while its in play unless all the people trying to fight it are dead.

really, i think the only way NA players will get a chance is if we voke when it goes yellow.

all the japanese have low pings and still voke bot. ckd is like 0/10 tries for behemoth.

Pix... in JP standard it's consider to be the worst act if you go steal a NM from other party...

also even there seems to be nothing left KB can still fight for a while afterall it's KB you are watching here ^^

Yeah I heard that if a LS dies to an HNM and other people are camping it, they will let the HNM med to full, then each LS will /random to see who gets to fight it, if there is more than one there.

I know that is very ignorant and rude to steal an HNM when it goes unclaimed, but people are people, no telling when someone will do it.

Well. I'm slowly starting to get sick of the Japanese dominance of this game, and they're skewed ethics. It's okay to make millions of gil fishbotting, it's okay to use bots to claim NM and HNM, but it's not okay to claim an NM that goes unclaimed. If the mob goes unclaimed in a fight, then they really shouldn't be fighting it.

trust me japanese LS do steal them from each other. Camping NMs isnt all flowers and rainbows. I heard about last week a japanese LS stole fafnir called for help and kept voking and calling for help on it.

honestly, I dont care anymore. Im so jaded from trying to get just 1 HNM from these guys with out them. doesnt matter if its 3AM or 5AM in the morning for them They always have to be there camping it.

Get use to it guys, NA end game sucks.

Im sure you might have a chance at KB, when I was there before and he spawned, no one did shit, cause they werent expecting him to pop lol. So im sure you could get him eventually.

Not so much pix. they kill behemoth as fast as possible or drag the fight out just to keep it in a time where NAs cant assemble as fast. Also considering we have 1/100 the population its alot harder for us to get people out to kill it.

All we want is the damn quest item for kayne.

Thats the only one I assume he needs now. The sad thing is, even if you do claim Behemoth, the odds of getting the Tongue are very slim I heard. higher drop rate on KB.

we are talking about normal people here. These arnt people from "The Last Samuri". They are just like us. Some good, some bad. Generally speaking no one will ever steal your HNM. If you steal an HNM the LS you steal it from is gonna trash talk your ls and blacklist you from Japanese events and such.

So really, say one of the NA linkshells did steal King Behemoth from a japanese LS. What now? They trash talk us in a language we dont understand? Now we arnt invited to all those God and Dynamis events they never invite us to anyway? Ohh geez I really dont wanna get on their bad side....

about the JP hardcoreness... most of the ppl from Pix's picture is not even JP... they do use the JP version but they are not JP...

JP aren't as good as you think. They do steal your mobs. Just last week, I was helping my Chinese ls friend getting joyeuse. The JP pt wiped, I even raised their NIN before my chinese ls gets there.

Charydbis is now unclaim and full health. My Chinese ls is ready to go. So the Chinese ls charged, the mob came unclaim at 80%. What did jp do? They voke it and keep it.

JP are human, they will do the same shit as NA has to do to get a spawn if they are in the bad position. If you don't want others steal your mob, don't let it go unclaim. If it's unclaim and you lose it, too bad.

I agree with Peejo on "not all JP are good"

The use of "good" suggest that you do agree that stealing is bad, right?

it's a game and with no hard written rule on this issue... you are free to do anything you want as long as you accept the consequence.

I know that not all are bad but some are downright mean, especially towards NA players.

I was in an all JP party in Qufim with BLM, and it was a good party, constant xp, no deaths, not even near deaths, long skillchains, all with MB opertunity, etc etc....
But one thing always bothered me: Our pullers provoke macro.

I can read a bit of japanese, but cant type the symbols, but it was roughly translated to this:

It really is quite sad that the monsters needed for some of the specialized high end gear are basically provoke fests. This happened for a time in EQ, but since you could quite literally "kill steaL" in EQ, people worked out compromises to share spawns. Unfortunately, all I sense is an overwhelming amount of Greed from the Japanese players who know they have the superior advantage in these provoke contests.

Until S-E has an epiphany and actually puts some high level guard mobs on these things, or something to plow through, this kind of crap will just continue to be a problem, and a sense of disappointment for any American who reaches the high end game only to find that the stuff you want is practically impossible to get.

it will be nice if the BCNM 99 is easier... the way I see it BCNM should be the same difficulty as the HNM but THEY ARE NOT ><||

Or all of the JPN should just find a new game to play since this game is so old for them already.
