Operation “I beat the game.”

Since I am quitting and I wish to restore some fun to this game and give back to the people ^^

Find Supafly every few days as long as people check the forums (I will post) Supafly will be online. 

Think of this as a great reward for finding the Taru (like Mikey’s contest from way back except with far greater prizes and riddles).


Hints:

- find me in the zone and check my bazaar
- read my search comment
- read my bazaar comment

Figure out the clues and you shall be very well rewarded!

Buy the roses!!!!!!! (just 1 per contest I will keep track^^
Also an ongoing contest where the person that finds me the most will be rewarded with a extremely rare item ^^ Happy Hunting!

Tip: you may need prism powders, silent oils as well as means of escape/warp. It will prove helpful ^^

Phase 2

I had a ton of fun with phase 2 of the “Find the Supafly” contest. I received a lot of funny /tells about people dying/training in Bostaunieux Oubliette and I congratulate all those that were persistent enough to find me. I even encountered and helped a few friends kill a few of the NM’s during my time hiding (Phanduron and Drex the Condemned – no drop off either ; ; ). Sewer Syrup was also up during my stay in the jail cell of hell (Congratz to Chronin the PLD on receiving the Jelly Ring). I really appreciate the positive feedback and the ability to play this game with my /farewell contest as well as the adventures it’s giving back to those on Ifrit. I hid in K-7 on the top floor of the dungeon near the 2 worthless shadow NMs. I only moved from that spot one time to assist with Sewer Syrup and noticed no one in the zone to find me during this time. ^^

Tuesday I am in the studio so no contest that day but stay posted for Phase 3 which “may” be within the next few days. ^^

Seriously, I was so sure I was going to get it first, and so my Oil is wearing, and I pick a "safe" spot, but no, there was a stupid leech around the corner hiding, so of course it sees me, and I die. Oh well, still got 250k, w00t.

I have noticed a few people teaming up in the last couple of contests and I have nothing against this strategy, just make sure you share the loot. :p The prize at the end of tonight is pretty hefty in comparison to phase 1 and 2! 2nd place will also go home with 500k. Phase 3

Phase 3 was fun but I wish more people would participate! I made a pretty bad mistake of hosting the contest on a Tuesday though and many have Dynamis on this day >.< (oops, forgot.) I have been appreciating the fond farewells as I am leaving the game and I really apologize for not responding but keep in mind that I am typing with a PS2 controller.

Recap: I kind of hinted around that you may want to work with someone to find me this time, since I was on the southern island of Battalia Downs (near Ahtu NM) which involved some switches and zoning through Eldieme Necropolis. This will not be the first or last time you may want to work with a friend or a couple of friends. I’m sure a few of you zoned through Beaucedine thinking I was there but a big pat on the back to all those that found me tonight^^. Basically I had the NM (Ahtu) on autofollow until a JP named Napori decided to kill him, he didn’t even check me and thus I guess he was just there for the tree lol. A big thank you to Auspice for reminding me of a fond memory as well as all the other tells even though I was mainly afk after the prizes were distributed. Also a special congratz to Macabre who looked for me for a long time and never gave up!^^ The contest ended a little after 4 Am when I saw Ahtu repop and killed em for a little retribution since I never soloed it before.

A third prize would be nice, I guess...just something like 50-100k. I wasn't able to attend last night's contest (notice was too late), nor will I be able to attend tonight's, as I have a five hour drive to get home, and I won't be back till about 8ish. Ah well.

Might I recommend a challenging riddle or two? I much more enjoy intellectual tasks over just running around with sneak oils spamming /target Supafly...

But I'm not criticizing, these are fun as hell ^^

In response to the above comments, I wanted to make a mark of how things should be done. I gave my Nobles back to Fate-Sealers and it now is in the possession of a fellow LS member of high caliber that will use the item. Also I never was about the loot in this game, I have seen what it does to people. I accomplished every goal this game could possibly throw at me. All Nations Rank 10 (except Sandy but I already know the entire story), ZM Complete, as well as all of CoP (to date) complete. I killed everything in Dynamis except the Dynamis Lord, only got AF2 shoes lol, I have killed all the Gods, a few land Kings as well as a few Jailers in CoP but overall it was the adventure and the people that kept me playing. In fact I never even made 75 whm. My leave should not be grieved, but rather celebrated as I am leaving it to 100% pursue my dream. I have been working diligently on a hip-hop album (no BS, it would stand a good chance in today's market) for the past 6 years. The time was more of a money situation but during this time I also have polished my craft to the level that it is now. I would say its a lot more like the real hip-hop that people miss (Nappy Roots, Talib Kweli, Mos Def) and defies a few musical boundaries. However I wasn't stupid and made a few "sell out"(I hate that word lol)/moneymaker songs that are radio friendly but all in all very good in quality while still staying very much myself during this process^^. The people in FAte Sealers that have heard it on voice chat have been very encouraging and I appreciate their feedback. It has been a expensive and hard task. I wrote every song, produced my own beats, and have funded all the time for studio, as well as quit a few bad habits and have exercised so I can do about a 1 hour and a half showcase and not collapse and be out of breath lol.
So all in all I have grown up and moved on \^^/ However this game has brought much pleasure and many memorable moments but everyone has to leave it sometime and thank you people so much for all the adventures, however I have a few more contests to give lol.

Phase 4

Phase 4 went off with a nice turnout before the holidays! I was hidden at area K-7 in Yuhtunga Jungle near the Zilart Mission area which required many to zone through Ifrit’s Cauldron. I also implemented a 3rd place with a fair amount of gill which caused me to decrease the 2nd place prize a bit. What was so miraculous was that 3rd place took their sweet time of almost 2 1/2 hours and winded up with 125k. Through the night a few of the smarter cookies figured out how to /check me a buy a rose from the bottom of the cliff but everyone that got 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place earned it fair and square.^^ It is however just too too bad I didn’t notice how close I was to that cliff and also that RMTs farm the Ash Dragon now (was told it wasn’t up). I always hated this jungle and many get lost just trying to get somewhere here so I knew hiding in this area would be quite a challenge. SE should have also considered in making the Rose Garden NM pop in this area instead of making it the lame time wasting NM that it is. Rest assured I have put some considerable thought into some more riddles instead of just finding me with some form of an alternative prize. In the future, the level of difficulty of where I will be hiding will get progressively harder (thinking COP areas) so get to work ^^. I really like how hardcore a few people are in finding me. I also appreciate the positive support I have received from many and I love giving people something to do instead of chatting away in their mog house from boredom. The next contest won’t be until sometime next week with fair warning of when I will be implementing it. Again, thank you for playing ^^

Phase 5

Phase 5 was a slight bit harder than the other phases but a big congratz to all those that found me. Also, I apologize with taking so long to get an update but that’s just how these things go. I was at E-6 in the Shrine of Ru’Avitau which is the room right before the Byakko entrance into Ru’Ann Gardens. As a white mage, I was always frustrated when we did mass migrations to Byakko Isle. Because someone always forgot sneak oils and would train and/or die forcing me to occasionally go back and raise people. Raising people on these excursions always frustrated me as well as people unwilling to die up top in Ru’ Ann Gardens for the ghetto tractor to get down to Byakko. So many people with that crap “I don’t know the way” excuse always seemed to make popping Byakko a pain in the ass. So the other night I hid where you had to go should you ever fight the Tiger in the future. ^^ I received many funny /tells about people threatening to slap me if I was in Kirin room since occasionally traveling there can be a royal pain as well. My condolences to Feep who died in Sky and gave up (sorry man ; . Also, a big “woot” to Naomiwatts who found me a few minutes before the deadline.

As you have noticed, the prize for 1st was about a 2 million dollar item, expect about the same next time!!!!!! Also I have a big big prize worth about 6 million plus I will also give away soon! Be prepared to start finding me in CoP areas in the near future, I will use these areas to see who the truly hardcore are since an ultimate prize is also at stake!

Heheheh. I'd never even walked around sky before, and I'm trying to venture to the depths of one of the most complicated zones in the game...of course I died. However, eventually some dude ran by and tossed me an R3, so whatever. ^^

I know my way around CoP zones (except Uleguerand Range, pick there and I'll kirr you), however, so I'll do okay there. ^^

He's going to hide underneath Jormungand next.
