I didn't know where to post this that all shells, no matter what time or day they go on would beable to find it (or who all has shells that doesn't fall on friday nights when mine goes), so i hope you don't mind me posting this here. But i know basically atleast several people from all shells on our server comes to CKD forums, so best place to get the word out.

The idea was to make a kind of 'one stop' place for all Ls doing dynamis to get quick info on what's going on on their servers and to avoid the constant problem of new LS cropping up and stepping on toes. Hopefully it all works out as planned.

Each calendar group also has its own forum area so that if any discussion about conflicts, or scheduling issues need to be hammered out, it's all in one spot and people aren't trying to communicate in-game, across various forums, etc.

It would be really cool if we all could work together to make this work.

Your name in game
Your Server
Your LS name
LS URL (if you have one)
Your position in the LS.

To gain access to posting on the calander.

In theory its a nice idea. I applaude the person who made that sheet. The problem is though, in CKD we may organize one raid but have server problems and switch to a new zone. We also dont organize more than 1-2 weeks in avanced. This is a dynamic game that constantly changes and so a schedule would change accourdingly.

well you guys never really have anyone competing for you zones, i know on friday nights, we plan about 5-8 weeks in advance and all work together while planning, and it's gone well so far (knock on wood), so this will work good for us atleast (i'm hoping), since it's easier than planning our schedules for 5 shells by going to 5 different forums. >.<

nah i don't talk shit about "CKD" cuz i have several people in there i talk to quite regularly, i just refer to asshats like you indivually, even then it's only when you want to start shit like this. And i havn't had a "problem" with CKD in what? 5-6months? Unless you want to count Hcc bitching about me buying a talon for 3.5mil (and LMAO i'm glad i fucking did, 6.5mil saved on my behalf, and even funnier that price was jacked up later by another 500k after it was like 2mil higher than what i payed for it about a week later by Severus lol). Fact: this forum has the most hits of any forum for our server, even those who "hate ckd" still can't stop reading the posts, even if they don't post. Thus, a to get the word out about a tool, that "might" benifit the whole server, regardless of if they like CKD or not, this would be the best way to do so, no?

Actually I would be the leader of that "shell" Yarr and I have managed to be kind enough to stand aside and let you guys do whatever on wednesdays. I have kept in touch with members of your LS so that our times do not conflict. Our ls (or versions of it) have been around for about a year now and until last summer we never had a conflict. Never even ran into you guys once. Now that we have, to prevent further "issue" I try to keep informed as to what you guys are doing on wednesdays.

Seems I am the only one out of the 2 of us leaders taking initiative to avoid further problems.

In regards to the actual topic of this thread.... I like it Ero and have actually known about it for a couple months. It's a good idea and for those that try to maintain a "consistant" set schedule it is a great idea. For those few other ls's that raid around the same time slot that I do it would be great to see who is doing what. I know this will work great with me and TTK on saturdays as well as I think honorguard is startin a raid on saturdays too. My only problem is wednesdays as it seems the only other shell that raids around the 7pm est time slot is ran by an officer that really doesn't care for anything else on this server but himself (admitted by members of his past and present raids and LS although I won't point fingers at any names).

I do agree though that inevitably this site is the best place to distribute this information though Ero as yes it does receive the most hits- REGARDLESS of topic. And if you wish to publicize information, you have to go where the readers go the most.

i do like ero's post to at least list what dy shells use what days, seeing how THE oldest na dynamis shell still apparently doesnt have recognition on the days its been using forever. then whoever has those days can talk a few days prior to maybe get an idea what zones are getting done to avoid normal everyday bullshit.

Anyway. I started that dynamis shell under the LS I made called TheCelestial. Yeah when I first made it, I didn't think enough about the days we had it schedule other than how it affected our members, not the other shells involved. As we progressed, I worked usually through Hcc (becaue gotets was a friend) to ensure we never conflicted with where CKDy was. That, and you all were usually on the harder zones at that point, thus making it a lot easier to avoid conflicts. Shouldn't be that big a deal to try and work together even if they are on the same night. I know I was able to keep relatively conflict-free except one night vs. ttk and windy.

And yeah, CKD is the reason I made that dynamis raid. I quit TTK, and where else would I have been able to do it? No where, so yeah thats true.

this is the same type of shit JPs tried to pull on NAs back in the day, that you and CKD have stood up in rebellion against (hell you even like to make it seem that w/o CKD's presence JPs would still be the only ppl doing dynamis). I don't see why we need to bicker amongst ourselves, you know damn right that if some JP LS tried to pull the "we were here first na {leave}" that you guys would say "fuck you, we're going in" and give yourselves a pat on the ass about it. We have been doing dynamis since at least last Jan. as we had to recently calculate everyone's tenure and used that as a refence point, we may have been doing it longer for all I know. I wouldn't say 2 years though. How Tiothiel managed to avoid you for so long is beyond me, but I have a feeling that you guys were probably doing straight ice raids on both days, and never noticed us as we farmed cities during the week [wednesday] and did ice on weekends [saturday] (eventually when our raids were strong enough). We do respect you, as we've been saying, we bowed out and pulled out of bastok instead of pulling some funny shit, even though we had that raid planned for longer. We have never once asked Yarr or expected Yarr to go out of his way and check when we were raiding, we went and consulted with ckd members (after Yarr continued to be uncooperative in pms, e-mails, tells, and however else we tried to work it out, numerous times) to find out what areas you guys were considering, so we knew what areas to avoid (if that's not respect I dunno what is). We're not the badguys here, granted we fucked up that once, and entered, which I apologized to you guys for as I showed up to that raid late (due to being stuck at work) and had no idea we had entered. But I do remember you guys changed your zone about a week before, and again we had been having sign ups and planned on doing that area for like a month. We're not trying to cause any trouble by sharing a day with you guys, this was just the day that was best for our members as we all voted on it awhile ago and thus it was decided, to change the day now because you guys decided to return to cities and we've had a couple conflicts in the past couple months after a year of the same schedule, is impossible. We can however very easily respect eachother's space and work around eachother.. there's now what? 9 dynamis zones to choose from? The world is plenty big enough to accomodate both our raids on the same day. All we ever wanted was at least a solid 2-3week notification of which dynamis area CKD was doing so as to schedule around it accordingly, but that wasn't good enough, you expect to have the whole day to yourselves. In closing I'd just like to say that I don't hear you bashing all the other LSs for camping your kings, it's the same type of principle I think. This game's going on what? 3 years now... you have to realize other LSs are doing endgame stuff as well, I'm sorry.

Comparing this to the NAvsJP situation CKD was in is totally stupid. Why? Because we worked with the Japanese players to avoid this. I originally wanted to do Dynamis on saturdays but there were some japnese players doing it already in that time slot. I basically used Wednesdays and sundays because I didnt want to step on toes. I also wanted to leave saturdays free for other CKD members to keep attending JP Dynamis raids that we had been lucky enough to attend in the first place.
NAvsJP was all about monopolizing HNMs. No matter what CKD did we couldnt avoid Japanese players monopolizing. All you guys had to do was use that fleshy thing above your shoulders and think "hey lets pick a day that people ARNT doing dynamis".

I went out of my way to make sure people were happy with CKD using this time slot. You guys made no such effort. It is a very very well known fact that CKD uses the 7:00PM EST time slot on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Why on earth would you go and schedule a dynamis raid for the exact same time?

I seriously question your mental well being. Oh hell why am I trying to be polite. I think you guys are absolute retards. I mean seriously. You would have to be living under a rock to not know CKD had public runs going every Wednesday and Sunday at 7PM EST when you started doing your raids .

So why? Why did they start using the same time as us? Because clearly you had to of known this was going to happen. We had a few problems with Valour doing private runs at the same time as us, but rather than piss us off like LJ has, they moved zones or we would pair up with them. Thats actually how the CKD\Valour alliance started.

So tiothiel, Judai, jimbean and Balidorn can come here pretending im the villain in all of this. God knows its easy for peolpe to look at me as a monster lol. That wont change the fact that all of this is cause by your poor planing and total lack of proactive thinking. Its this alone that landed you in this mess. So why should I have to compromise my linkshells hard work and dedication to work with these retards?
