yeah I hope Children of Mana returns the Mana series back to its glory days. FF6 is actually my favorite game of all time, so I'm excited to see what kind of new stuff they will add. I thought FF4 Advance was very well done (people complained it was buggy but I never really noticed), and I drool at the thought of new content for FF6. Haven't heard much news about the remakes lately though.

FFVII is the game people who don't play Final Fantasy talk about. I liked VII and IV, and X.

X was the first one I got, and I liked the story and the minigames.

Can't wait for this one, it looks cool.

i played 4>6>7>5>3>8>9>T>10>1>2>11
i liked 11>4>6>5>T>7>9>3>1>2>10>8
but 11 was a different kind of game and might be first or as low as fifth, not sure

my favs are 6>4>T>5>10>9>7>1>MQ>8>2

never played 3, and I don't think 11 fits in with the others. FF11 should've been called "FF Online" or something

6 and 5 and 7 were the best accomplishments so far in the series, 6 being way ahead of the other two. off chance anyone else have the Black Mages Remix of Dancing Mad... thats so hawt, its amazing to think they were able to pull off that musical score considering the SNES sound system was way subpar compared to a Sega Genesis at the same time frame.

I swear hearing Dancing Mad just brings such good memories back..

If that song is on the second Black Mages CD, I have it, if it's on the first, nope.

I've played all FFs except for 3. In order (excluding 11):

7, 6, 9, Tactics, 4, 5, 10, 1, 2, 8

Nine is so underrated.

here's an interesting article about Square-Enix's upcoming lineup for E3: http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=16302

translation is a little off, but it talks about a lot of cool games

Order I played FFs....kinda a strange order.

FF2 (SNES, IV JPN)
FF1
MQ
FF Adventure (game boy Seiken densetsu or whatever)
FF Legend 2 (game boy)
FF Legend 3 (game boy)
FF3 (SNES, VI JPN)
FF7
FF8
FF9
FF5 (on chronicles(?) PS1 CD)
FF10
FF2 (famicom translated rom)
FF11

Order I liked them..using JPN numbering ignoring GB ones, never played JPN FF3.

FF6, FF4, FF7, FF9, FF11, FF10, FF5, MQ, FF1, FF2, FF8.

6 is my favorite RPG ever made with 4 being a close second. 8 is my least favorite RPG ever made lol. People argue with me about 8 a lot. Maybe one day i'll play it again and give it another chance. Only played it once...played most of the others 2-3 times all the way through. I am looking forward to playing 3 for the first time. I need a DS now damnit. Never played Tactics, and don't know why. Perhaps one day I will play that also.
