I was asked to PL so many people when newjobs came out, just random strangers who see whm and think "free xp". Most either got a f**k off or nothing in response lol.

lol after 3 hours of updates and traveling and quests I finally got to Aht Urgan...and I died while doing the COR and PUP quests. where do I get the map of the first area after nashau of something? because I got lost and died haha

I dunno where to get any maps of the arrapago reef, but right after you dock in Aht Urghan whitegate, theres a vendor forward and right a little bit. Guy with the crowd around him, hard to miss.

Not really, there's an NPC vendor, mithra I think. And there's a hume standing outside of it to the right, talk to him, buy the maps. You basically just walk straight forward after you dock.

I bought all the maps from the guy in the whitegate area....but no nashau map or w/e

The map vendor only sells a couple maps at first. You have to do ToAu mission 1 I think to get the rest. The one where you talk to Naja Salaheem then deliver supplies to an assault zone. I'm not 100% positive that's the prerequisite but that's what I was told, and that's what I did...and the vendor sold more maps. The only maps you can get from that vendor are: Al Zhabbi, Aht Urgan Whitegate, Nashmau, Bhaflau Thickets, and Wajoom Woodlands. Mamook, Halvung, and Arrapago Reef can be bought for 1000 sanction points each. Carderva Mire, Mount Zhaylom, and Adaweena Subterraine (sp?) maps are very easy quests that require minimal research on FFXI sites. I don't know how to get any others.

Any idea what that NM fish drops? Some guy fished it up on my first boat to AU, and some hot headed DRG who was jumping every mob that popped, CFHed on this NM and I haven't seen it since.

Dahak an NM? I haven't been to that area yet.

Those Dahak are kinda deep into Mount Zhayolm. They are VT to 75. I hear they are true sight but I didn't feel like testing that. They are the coolest skinned non-hnm/bc dragons in the game IMO.

Well, there's those dragons that actually look like dragons in Kuftal that nobody every EXPs off of, called Ladon's or something. Iunno, haven't been to that area in kuftal since DRK.

Those Dahaks are not NM, just VT. BUT...they have a Null Song that does huge dmg to AOE, AND removes buffs. They never dropped anything kool...we killed 4-5 of them. Also we thought it would be nice if they placeheld a NM...like TT in Ifrit's Cauldron....but so far, it appears they don't. :/
And no...don't know what those NM fish on the boat drop, but there are more then 1.

Oh..and by the way, I traded 1000 gil to that Caroon NPC, and I got a long cutscene with a new quest. hehe ^^ First time that ever worked on a whim. He hints at wanting money...so I shouldn't be too proud of figuring it out :P
