The Colbert Report is satire. He is mocking Republicans and Conservatives mostly. I would say the Colbert Report is sometimes doing more to trash Bush than the Daily Show. The clip of Colbert at the White House press conference was pure awesomeness.

I mean I love Steve Colbert but I think his show goes over my head a little since Im not into politics (US or Canadian)

You shouldn't think you understand the American political scene from watching the Daily Show. It is definately the sharpest political comedy show on TV but it's still comedy.

edit: I take that back. To say "I know all about this and that from watching the Daily Show" is a little wack, but you do get a pretty keen sense of how ridiculous our government is alot fo the time (particularly the Senate. What a bunch of stupid fucks they are).

no no no, I dont get my information from the daily show lol. Im in canada but we still get most american channels (no cspan). We do get CNN and all our major american channels are american based (My HD CBS channel give local news for Washington haha, my HD NBC is like Detroid and my Fox HD channel is Buffalo(s?) and so on).

I just personally take no interest in politics. I also dont cry about the government.

there's a video that disappeared and i cant find anywhere anymore. it did a run down on documents explaining how the pilot of the plane that hit the WTC was previously a CIA officer who had offered a fake terrorist-attack-on-WTC-plan, interesting enough. also, there was a recorded message sent from one governor to another saying to not get on the plane that would have later hit the WTC, and another document showing mass annonymous "pull stocks" on the airlines that hit the WTC, which would give the people money if the stock were do drop.
