Hey Led I heard about the most retarded new "scene" for you to join when you grow out of the current one.

Apprarently it's called "Straight-edge" (i'm sure you've heard of it). See you can still be a punk and a rebel (MTV watching rebel) but straight-edges don't drink, don't smoke, don't have promiscuous sex, don't eat meat, and most importantly, never use medicine or allow medicine to be given to them. They'd die on the operating table before letting doctors give them anesthesia. Best of all, you can still feel like part of a "community" while still feeling like the "token semi-cross dresser" you are now. AND you can act all high-and-mighty because you don't drink, and you certainly don't take aspirin!


What do you think huh. I'm really looking out for you here and finding all the hottest trends for you to latch yourself onto. Eh? Eh?

lol Straight-edge has been around forever. I had Straight-edge friends in high school. The only difference was that they would take anesthesia and stuff if they were in a life or death situation.
Although they never took normal pills or simple stuff for a headach or bellyach.

and they always put an X on the back of their hands and walked around all tough and hardcore.

I only ever take something for my super bad headachs. I try to avoid taking them for minor things. I generally dont like taking Medication unless I have to or its subscribed by a doctor (as in I have to take it, not that I dont trust normal stuff).

I think veganism is as much of a fad as any of this other shit that these kids are doing. I mean not everyone is doing it as a fad, but anyone who basically shouts "IS THERE MEAT IN THIS? HOPE THERE ISN'T I DON'T EAT MEAT BECAUSE I'M A VEGAN' and there are alot of people like that, probably are doing it for attention (like my sister's friend, who makes us accomodate for her everytime she comes over.
