Doom is prity nasty from what I hear you cant get raised after. I think the fake ld is a work around for that.

Yeah, we had someone get taken out by Doom on our first try. And any attempts to raise them gave us a "X's Raise has no effect on Y.".

This made me think back to some of the really old FF's (SNES) where if you were killed by Doom, you couldn't be raised. Luckily, LDing and coming back "fixed" it.

Who is going to be the one to test out if this was just a fluke or not? :P

I guess thats some good motivation to keep some holy water on you. Holy water cures Doom.

Ya, that was me. I was really freaked out when my reraise didn't take effect. Then I had raise casted on me twice with no effect. After I disconnected and came back, I got raised ok.

I wasn't even sure that it was doom that killed me though. The counter only got to 7 in my chat log, but I didnt get hit by anything else so I guess it had to be doom.

There is probably a chance one of "Doom" effects is the player cannot be raised until a certain amount of time has passed... Just a thought..

Dinav, sang was next to me the whole time i was there, and when the AF dropped i told him exacly this, if Dinav lots for less then the other THF i'll lot on it. Otherwise i'd pass. After i waited like 2 minuts looking for you i couldnt find you, so i just lotted. Just to find out that i couldnt have it anyways.
