First area I went to was uleguerand range. Almost the whole time i was there it was double ice so I coulnt see anything. For some reason Elements like 500 miles above me on the mountains would bind me when I would cast magic below them. They were so far away that they never ended up engaging me, the trip to get to me took so long the weather would dissapear and so would the element.

Ive gotta admit it was really exciting walking into a new zone. So what if the first thing i saw was a normal tiger it was still fun. Seeing a Buffalo was really cool. Those things are big. About as long as a behemoth and taller/more fat.










I also found this little guy bouncing around.



I also learned they do agro magic



oh and they do have a self distruct.... That bomb blew up and left me with 10 hp. To bad I had Frost and didnt remember... I died as i was tying in ls that I just survived the explosion... lol

So after a little wandering around and getting lost and getting stuck and dying a few times (reraise III ) I decided to test my luck with a buffalo.


OK so these are only Easy Prey. I am a WHM though and I am elvaan. So I put on my best Melee gear and rested up full.



At first I just tried to keep stonskin up but I ended up having to recast it like every time the timer was up. I actually made about 5 points in shield and I ended up blocking like 15+ hits. This fight was honestly easier than I thought it would be but still really hard. I didnt have to use my 2h. Still it was fun.




In the end I managed to win dispite being paralized twice.




Next area was Carpenters Landing iirc. This is the zone right off Junger. The area itself is layed out alot different than most other zone. I got lost in here for like an hour and finally made my way back to junger. Theres a boat ride that moves you around the zone and its way more fun to tak than the boat from selbina. I also found an owl that did nothing and I couldnt target it too.

I didnt have as much time to play as I wanted since I was on PS2 and Princess and I had some important TV to watch (Season finally of BB5 and Amazing Race). Honestly work today is going to last forever knowing I could be at home exploring new areas!

I got my CoP, its updating as we speak so im up for hunting tonight yarr ^^

So i bought CoP today and i then drove home to install it (obvioulsly). So i put in the disk and go to install it. I get to the screen wehre it says 25 minutes remaining and i decide to go back and watch the intro and see waht thats about. So i watch the intro and its them same one as the main game. Disapointing Yes. Anyway, in oreder to exit i had to log out of the install area and restart the install process. Basically to make a long story short. Something screwed up on PS2 and deleted my FFXI instaliation LOL. So CoP obviously will not install without FFXI, so right now i am sitting here watching the Yankees win while my FFXI re-installs. I so hope i dont have to redo macros and all that shit but i think im gonna, man making all those macros again is gonna really suck. /sigh

Strangely there wasnt one. there were only two messages, "Do not remove your hard drive at this time" and "Dinav is a clown". The second message was in big flashing christmas lights and made the <call14> noise everytime it flashed. It was crazy.

"Chains of Promathia" PlayStation(R)2 Installation Warning

We have discovered an issue with the PlayStation(R)2 version of FINAL FANTASY XI Expansion Disc: Chains of Promathia. Cancelling the installation by pressing the "Stop" button may cause all FINAL FANTASY XI data to be lost, necessitating a complete reinstall of FINAL FANTASY XI.

* Note that pressing "Stop" during the installation will display a confirmation screen. This screen prevents accidental cancellations.

If you encounter this issue, you will need the original FINAL FANTASY XI discs in order to reinstall the game.

Please note that you must reinstall FINAL FANTASY XI if the Chains of Promathia installation is cancelled in any way. We apologize for the inconvenience.

There stil is no "STOP" button, only a cancel button. Bah this is lame but only a few minutes left.
