I'd say I've got a lot more to say than a lot of the people here.

My post wasn't directed towards you Ponuh. I know you have a lot to say

We all have times when we post usless stuff, but I haven't seen Aurara post anything with more than 3 words. I guess I shouldn't be an asshole about it...but we are all irritable people on this forum.
lol never.
Last thing i bought was a album (queen of the damned soundtrack) way back in 2002.
Good CD had it way before i saw the movie, and i was rather disappointed to hear them sang by jonathan davis and not the people on the CD, he made them sound so horrible, and i even like Korn.

P.S. Gamestop sells DVD's? and they are that cheap? damn i need to get out more.

Right now we've got buy 2 get 2 free on used DVDs lol. We used to take DVD's as trade-ins but so many people were just stealing box loads from Blockbuster and selling them for cash. So now we're just trying to liquidate them all out to clear our hands.

My brother bought "Children of Men," which I watched the other week. The cinematography was great and some of the shots were incredible like the continous, one-take scene of the road ambush. The artistic qualities of the movie aside though, the message it gives is a little heavy handed. I can't enjoy a movie when I'm not distracted enough by what's on the screen when I'm being dry humped by a director's political message. Overall it was good, very good, but the obvious Homeland Security ties and symbolism behind the movie sort of cheapened it for me.

I've been out of the loop as far as movies go. I haven't even seen 300 yet, lol There's a lot I need to catch up on. I want to see Pan's labyrinth too. I'll lurk here for recommendations though.

One of the greatest comedies ever made. I've watched Grandma's Boy 100 times haha.

Pan's Labyrinth

Very dark and not as much fantasy as I hoped. I still ended up liking it a lot. I saw it in the theater when it came out, and rented it this week. I like the creature with the eyeballs in it's hands. When it bit the fairy's heads off and their veins were snapping, I was like holy shit the first time haha (this movie has some nasty bloody scenes). The cinematography in Pan's labyrinth is amazing. The picture quality isn't so great though.

I've been watching movies like crazy on Blockbuster total access.

For only $17.99 a month and you can have 3 DVDs at a time all the time. You also get a free video game rental every month. They have every movie, TV show, etc on DVD. They also have a lot of Blu Ray and HD DVD. I read horror stories about people getting scratched up HD DVDs/Blu Ray movies that didn't work...I have yet to see it. I've rented about 12 HD DVDs so far. Even the scratched ones work because I clean them off first. I haven't had a single problem. They did send me a Blu Ray instead of an HD DVD before (Mission Impossible 3). That pissed me off because I thought my player was broken at first lol. Anyways...this will be the end of me buying DVDs for a while. This is a shitload cheaper.

I didn't think he carried much of a message at all, really. Besides the whole "Rights of Man v Bellipotent" message that scifi occasionally carriers. I thought the story was good, the cinematography was absolutely top-notch and the setting was very detailed (the movie held up to 2nd viewings with plenty of new things discovered).
