Agnosticism about religion seems to be pretty well defined. I think it's true that it's probably catching the "i'm too lazy to make up my mind" but really what I see agnostics saying is "There is evidence against the existence of God, there is almost non-existent evidence for the existence of God, but it can't be disproven so I cannot say He doesn't exist". For Dawkins to attack that is to betray his belief that people should follow the evidence because there is not yet (ever will be) sufficient evidence to disprove God.

Religions aren't just about gods, necessarily. Spiritualism, astronomy and the such are religions in their own way. There are parts of belief systems and religions that are rational and then there are parts that are irrational, that is why some people pick and choose their morals/ethics from those in different religions. Sometimes they pick some irrational ones and other times they pick rational beliefs. Beliefs pertaining to murder for example versus ones pertaining on what to eat on what day.

The belief system itself isn't irrational because of the existence of a god, it is irrational due to the beliefs themselves. Which are also argued about with religions like Christianity and even within their various denominations/sects. The 7 days of creation crap and any fuzzy math based off of it are beliefs that are seen as irrational for example. That is the one used mainly in disproving the Judeo/Christian God, and just part of the belief system.

Agnosticism does make more sense than pure atheism. It is fence sitting, but really people aren't forced to pick sides necessarily. Agnostics are just as free to ignore any beliefs/morals/ethics put out by religions as any atheist. They just don't say for a fact that god could never exist. There are no bets or anything that force a decisive deadline. If you aren't subscribing to the beliefs it really doesn't matter anyways.

Going out of your way to prove that god doesn't exist would be an impossible task most likely, especially if you are disproving every god at once and not one specifically. Is it a worthwhile task considering the amount of effort required? Being that it is basically impossible, of course not.

Do you seriously hear that guy reading Macbeth? I don't, would make me fucking laugh too hard and then fall asleep. He could probably do some of them, but the tone of the story narration plus the voices of characters, don't fucking kid yourself. All he has is the accent imo (well it is proper English), and that he isn't totally monotone.

Science and atheism might end up becoming their own quasi-religions. Religion doesn't need a god per say anyways, just common beliefs held by people. Those beliefs can be that of a creator or not. Would you say Buddhism has a god? No, but it is a religion.

its a shame disney is shit now. their CGI movies are just complete shit, they can't animate humans well at all. Their 2d animated masterpeices were just that- masterpeices. But they have strayed so far, into shittyness lol. Need to take a few pointers from the people that made advent children if they want to keep making human based CGI movies. The only disney cgi I actually liked was finding nemo

madi, i do agree with you with just about everything, i have a few friends that worked on those disney masterpieces, such as aladin, lion king, lilo and stitch, blah blah. the main orlando animation studio closed down in like 2004. its really sad, but damn they are such amazing artists..

as for stuff like advent children it was all just motion captured, so if disney or any animation studio were to do something similar to that, it would be called rotoscoping. and just wouldnt have the feel at all of an animation, there are certain things that makes an animated masterpiece, a masterpiece. you cant really follow real life with stuff like that, its just too stiff and boring.

what I was trying to say was just that their CGI humans look so stupid and childish and I guess maybe thats what they are going for. . . but it really just doesnt seem like disney anymore to me, it just seems dumb.

All of their shit has always looked childish. It is fucking Disney haha. They aren't going to be styled like anime (like Advent Children). Mix those two together you get Kingdom Hearts lmao.

their older movies such as alladin little mermaid lion king pochahontis mulan ect didn't seem childish to me. They were obviously targeted for younger audiences but you could appreciate the time and master it took to make the films and how nice they look, and the stories were good as well. Now the CGI stories are crappy the animation is crappy and just everything is crappy. I hate disney now lol

The CGI stuff is made by Pixar and Disney just bought them. If you don't like it then take up the CGI characters with them. Disney probably won't do another hand drawn animated movie in a long time. Very sad.

That was actually pretty damn gay. Not to mention he forgot the 20s with swing/ballroom dancing, that would denote evolution. Not that there wasn't dancing before that, he just started in the 50s. Wait you would actually need a female partner for shit like swing dancing. Nevermind lol.

Congrats for being too uptight to enjoy it.

I am not uptight. I just think it should be more inclusive. That is actually more open minded. Jazz/swing/ballroom is based off of the only true American artform in music. Why just start with rockish 50s music? He did a good job, but it reminded me of a less spastic Napolean Dynamite.

I edited what I originally said because I didn't wanna come off as mean. But you caught it anyway. It was a comedy routine, and he got alot in 6 minutes. Good variety, and alot of cheesey/memorable stuff. Sorry for the first comment. Bad mood.

No problem. It is late at night here and I have drank at least 8 shots of teh vodka. I figured it is comedic, anyone who does the robot has to be trying for comedy.
