It's not really me crying, but more-so voicing the unpopular opinion of the black male, which isn't really represented on this forum at all.

I was never complaining or even looking for an argument, but when people say "hay blacks are bad, take it as you will" then I will of course go ahead and say thats wrong, and if we continue to think that way then we will continue to live with disdain towards other races.

You know the only thing worse than a prejudice person, is a prejudice person in denial. Some people are racist and don't even realize it. I'm just doing them a favor by letting them know...

And knowing is half the battle.

I try and be open minded when I meet new people. I work with a couple racist people who don't like blacks or mexicans, but I have some good friends who are black (one even stayed in my room for a good while because of problems at home) and my girlfriend's half mexican. Even with my customers I keep an open mind. Sure there are some stereotypical people, but there's at least 100 people that don't stand out for each one.


On topic, celebreties are just regular people with higher paychecks. If he did something as cruel as this I hope he gets the maximum punishment for it.

Black people have their own language and their own music. They have worked so hard to keep people away from them and their lifestyle but they constantly complain that they are cast out of society. And since when were minorities not allowed to be racist? I dated a hispanic girl who's parents didn't want me in their house because of my skin color. (they got over it once we met though, which was cool) I know plenty of black girls who don't date outside their race because they think white guys are teh devil. Theres plenty of prejudice going on between minorities, so I don't really know where you that little idea from...

I can say that for any "Insert Random Minority here". Jews, Hispanics, Asians, Italians, Irish, practically everyone has or has had their own seperate communities here. Living in south florida, 50% of our radio stations are broadcasted in Spanish, what world do you live in where only blacks have their own seperate subculture?

My comment was just pointing out how much of a hypocrite I would be if I was prejudice. I'm not exempt from racism because I'm a minority and I'm aware - I just think it would be completely asinine to be racist as a minority.

There's a slight difference there (culture). Hispanics speak Spanish (Mexican) because that's the native language of Mexico. Irish speak Gaeilge again because it's their native language, same for Jewish people and Asians. African Americans use a "form" of English. This is, however, not the native language of Africans. A lot of African Americans that I know do not talk like this but this broken English is what makes people think they are stupid. Is that the African American culture?

The other reason why people have the racist bug towards African Americans is that they get away with things we can't. NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) for example. A wonderful group focused toward helping minorities. There is NO WAY white people could have an equivalent organization without pissing people off. They get your own channels on TV - WET wouldn't work out. In most cases it seems to me that blacks are more racist towards whites than anything else. I hear more black people talking about how they hate crackers but I guess that's just because most white peoples are scared to offend blacks.

Don't get me wrong; I couldn't care less what black people do or even how you act but you need to expect other retards to think that you are below them because of the way you act. That's just life - people don't treat me like some roofing spic but that's simply because I don't act like one which brings us right back to Galindar's post. I, of course, would never use "the n word" simply because I have a lot more respect for the melting pot of people on this forum but I'm sure that's why he said that.

Well...Racism is not funny. Racial profiling, however, is hilarious.

Black culture exists throughout America. Whereas little bits of various ethnic cultures are spread a bit thinner. A good way to look to see which culture has influence in an area is to look at the names of the towns, cities, sports franchises, and cuisine of the region. These are localized versions of places these people brought with them, but (many) Black Americans share the same cultural identity as non-immigrants, since their cultures was destroyed by the slave trade.

Basically what I'm saying is white culture is black culture and black culture is white culture. Neither side wants to admit that completely though.

What's the difference between Telemundo (or other Spanish T.V. stations) and BET? Just because the word "black" is in the name all of a sudden we're being prejudice? If BET had another name it would just be that station with all the black folk on it.

Also, you're forgetting WHY we have T.V. stations like BET. Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle were denied their own sitcoms by FOX, ABC, and NBC... why? Because their humor wouldn't translate well in front of a "national audience." Look at the Jena 6, how much coverage has it been getting by any of the channels I just mentioned? But when another little Jon Benet Ramsey gets kidnapped, its headline news.

Point is, we wouldn't need stations like BET if the ones we had before gave equal representation for minorites.

You're right and I'm sorry, DJ, but unfortunately it will always be like this. There will always be stupid people who think like a racist. No matter what I do I can't control stupid people multiplying and bringing up more stupid people. There is nothing a white person can do that any Black person can't do (and even better in most cases haha) but people will always have that racism bug.

I said this already but it's from Mr Moore. The only real solution is to completely do away with the different races and become one race and one color. The world will be boring but a lot more fair...then you only have income (omg this is a new thing) to use against people.

I've never had a huge problem dealing with racism in my life, so i'm not going to pretend like the whole world is against me. I just think that we need to look at ourselves before we go judging other people. Everyone has their own bias' and we all are guilty of treating others poorly for the wrong reasons. However, if we ever want to get past that obstacle, we need to start looking at what makes us all the same, as apposed to what makes us different.

I think my stance towards carlos mencia is clear. THat is, I'd probably beat him to death if I saw him on the streets. Dave Chappelle was much better because his shit was mostly racial as well but at least it was funny and clever most of the time.

I would definitely kill people, no question about it. Why fight a person when they survive to get revenge later after you kick their ass? Just kill them. That is how I would deal with an anarchic situation. I will take many people with me before I go down. Fuck being euthanized. I would rather not fight or kill actually, that has its consequences as well. It sure as hell is better than being killed though.
