my highschool team just made it to the championship of the sectionals. first time in like 10 years. i am pumped atm.

As an Englishman yes i love Soccer, although it's proper name is football, im sick of it being called soccer what BS that name is. It's bloody football, you know why? because you play the game with your feet for the vast majority.

What sucks though is the English invent the best game in the world and are not the best at it. I blame the influx of Foreighn players into the English leagues for this. We need to develop our youth systems more and not put so much faith in foreighn players.

when i went to england last year i attended an arsenal game. they are the team that i root for when i watch the premier league. i'm sorry that i called it soccer but thats just american ignorance for ya^^


i think it's really cool to see how involved the fans are in the games. it seemed as though every person there knew all of the chants. i can confidently say that that is not how it is in america, but i hope that we gain some enthusiasm soon.

Soccer - and yes I too call it soccer -- Rules. No I don't play -- I am not so stupid as to put this old bod to the test lol. My son played for years tho and I loved to watch him (he played center field and was awesome at it). He was in a primier team here and was being encouraged to try out for scholarships by his coach when he decided to join the Reserves. I miss watching!

I have to say I am proud to wear that title. I've been "room-mom", "soccer-mom", "cheer-mom", "gymnastics-mom", "baseball-mom", more occassions than not I've even been "Bitch-mom". Lately, since I'm not so needed (kids 16 and 18 now) I'm just "weird-mom" cause I sit on here or FFXI all day.

that would be even better... I could pull my 2 B's (which my parents are pissed about) up to A's and have my 4.4 GPA back again ><

and while all this is happening, i would be level 75 and be just as worthless as i am now at level 65 ><

OMG that has sooo happened Playing DAoC my son was a bard -- I remember the day I got him in pt and was working two comps at once trying to get him leveled. Not only that - but in FFXI - as irl - he would come home and say "Hey Mom - buy me this uber piece of equipment -- pleaaaase"

That makes me not only "Nerd Mom" but "Sucker Mom"
