I highly doubt that a double bird will come from weddings. They already showed off an exclusive barding for weddings. Why give your companion a wedding barding if you'd be using a completely different chocobo?
Still, if it were true would be really cool. But I was hoping that they wouldn't encourage people to marry whomever in game for exclusive goodies. I'd rather it be for people wanted to wed for some special meaning between them.

maybe they will make it into a grindfest to get married. you have to collect 2000 soldiery to buy the wedding document and grind 300 fates together as a party. or something lol.

I dont know anyone who hasnt signed up already, but I did see the two person chocobo when I was Atma farming. It looks pretty awesome.
