I told myself to farm platinum once they showed Desynth was going to 110, figuring on accessories, but instead, I spent time capping hunt seals.



I'll miss out on a shitload of patch day "I have a pile of platinum lying around" money, and I'm ok with that.


Level 45 crafting/gathering leves have a chance to reward items "that aid in acquiring" new crafting/gathering gear.

New craft/gather tools are i90

i100 gear from new expert dungeons, i120 from world of darkness.

it appears the only rewards from Odin are two i50 armor sets. One has the same helm/body name as the current Odin's mantle trade reward, I assume the other is a mage set. The difference is instead of just being a helmet and a huge 4 slot "body" piece, these are single slots (feet, leg, body, hand, head) so they can be fully glamoured.

The extreme mounts quest for Kirin mount is called Legend for a Legend. Shit.

HQ versions of old philosophy ingredients like coke can be obtained from maps.

Changing jobs in sanctuaries won't wreck your cooldowns.

All hunts now give twice the seals they used to, including daily/weekly mark bills.

Faster nexus light rates.

Looks like Allagan Catalyst is a crafting ingredient for i110 weapons and accessories.

Cloud of Darkness minion. Enkidu minion.

Pretty much all the new crafted gear uses Ebony and/or Platinum.

A lot of WoD gear has Crit/Det secondaries so itemization will be interesting again...
(Including Fending chest, Aiming chest, Caster chest, Healing Gloves/Legs/Belt, etc.)

Random Reddit rumors that light gain for novus/nexus will be doubled.

The i70 crafting gear is similar to the Ixal gloves (slightly lower caps than max i60 Artisan)

Healing hat/gloves/skirt/belt from WoD looks great for sch. Caster set is decent too.

Making the new hunt logs cost twice as much as old ones then doubling the seal rewards for all hunts smacks of offsetting penalties.

Think aside from the i60 crafting body, all the new DoL/DoH stuff is quested. Might still require some desynth type stuff (whatever comes from the lv45 leves) but eh, at least it's not all straight up crafted.

Crafting Lucis
Stats:
Craftsmanship : 180 (+31 over Supra)
Control : 97 (+14 over Supra)

+31 Craftsmanship is huge and will let people use 4 progress steps instead of 5 for 3-star or higher. Hopefully they won't be gated behind the existing 4-star master books.

Gathering Lucis
Stats:
Gathering : 179 (+26 over Supra)
Perception : 102 (+14 over Supra)

Should give 1-2% gather rate and 1% HQ rate on MIN/BTN and allow you to catch any 2.4 fish without Food

If I'm not mistaken that might be another 0% HQ increase on 3 star nodes. Either way, I'll get them. The fishing requirement is probably horrible but will be nice to have while working on the big fish (eventually).

Agreed. It seems like they tried to make it a little harder, but it's still stupid easy. They should've made it 3k seals without bumping up the rewarded seals as well.

One guy in my hunt ls already had two of the new books by 7am this morning.

I'm most surprised by the fact that these books are added in as possible direct drops.

i prolly did at least 30 A's yesterday with no book drop. didnt see anyone shouting or in pt say they got a book like usual. so its gotta be kinda rare from the A's, we'll see from the S's today i guess.
