Coming back from down 3-0 to take a best of 7 series is absolutely amazing! Especially taking that last two in the yankees own backyard. Simply amazing!

this was the first yankees team i've ever kinda liked, with sheffield matsui arod, lofton, lieber, mussina, kevin brown, i liked all those guys. also the 04 yankees was probably the phattest baseball roster i've ever seen. it was so phat this year everyone said it would collapse under its own weight. they still did have a very good year.

but its great to see Boston finally be happy. whether or not they win the WS, they are definitely happy this year. and to think, Yankees won game 1, won game 2, won game 3, and were winning in the 9th inning of game 4... that was definitely the biggest comeback i've ever seen

This is a cool story:

On one note............Raiders could never play Denver in the Super Bowl, they are in the same division, which means they would VERY rarely even both make the playoffs. On another note, Pats only won that Super Bowl a couple of years ago because they made a new rule (The frikin "Tuck" rule!? wtf is that?) . haha, and yes, the Raiders do suck this year (and last year) but they still my team lol. Anyways.....Eternus, I am stationed in Mayport, maybe I will see you around some time.

Also the 'tuck' rule isn't new, they just put an "Emphasis" on it the year after that play. Just like this year they are putting an "emphasis" on the 5 ayrd chuck rule. Personally "Emphasis" = bullshit, because they sure as hell don't enforce the 5 yard chuck rule anymore than in years past.

MM if you see me around it will be at EB buying games lol. Seriously I don't get out as much as I used to due to FFXI. If I leave the house it is for a Jaguars game. Mayport is on the north side of Jacksonville, as I live in Mandarin (extreme south side). How long have you been stationed in Mayport, and what do you think of Jacksonville? I personally think Jacksonville is growing and might not be able to handle the growth that will occur after the Super Bowl, and is already having problems with traffic as it is.

The Raiders are no longer contenders in the AFC, they might as well start rebuilding now. This year the Jaguars might be playoff bound, but next year is when I think they will start developing into a real Super Bowl contender. This is of course barring any catastrophic injuries. But that is the NFL for you, the team's starting QB could be lost for the season on one play or you could draft a 7th rounder that leads the league in rushing.

I'm actually from Toronto and I HATE the Maple Leafs. Their fans just annoy me so much. My teams r the Montréal Canadiens and the Phoenix Coyotes (but like they never win). I hate Ottawa also, even though I'm going to university in Ottawa. Perhaps I'll cheer for my hometown (the Leafs) when in Ottawa since my miss everyone back home T_T
